TIH 553 Welcome to Truth in History. Today I'd like for us to start with a very familiar Scripture found in the book of Psalms chapter eleven. The theme that I have been talking about for the last few programs is What is Wrong With America? And I have divided up the subjects that I have spoken about. What is wrong with the White House? There's something wrong there, not the actual building but the occupants, the philosophies, the ideas, the aims and the background of the men that occupy that place not just the president but his cabinet and so forth. What is wrong with the, the state houses not only in Washington, DC but across this country in, in all fifty states, the legislators, those bureaucrats that are working for the government, the US government, state governments coming up with all kinds of ungodly suggestions, ungodly laws and so forth. Then we talked about what is wrong with the church, the church house. Something is not quite right in America with the modern church. And we also talked about the, the schoolhouse that critical area in our society that trains our young but something is wrong with that institution called the church house. But today I want to talk about what is wrong with the movie house. But before we begin I'd like to have a word of prayer because this is, it's, it's a very critical subject. It's a subject that preachers should be talking about, pastors should be informing their people concerning what is wrong with the American entertainment industry. Let us pray. Our father in heaven, we thank you Lord for this opportunity to share this information, Lord not only to expose the evil that is in our land but also to give hope to the believer, to those that are anchored in Christ and Lord let everything that I say be given in the right spirit and attitude and let it be received in the right spirit and attitude concerning this critical subject. And wake up the people of America. Lord, wake up our preachers that they will have some backbone to expose the evil and the evil people that are in America trying to destroy our nation. Give us strength we pray in Jesus Name. Amen. Psalms Chapter 11 verse number one begins this way. “In the LORD put I my trust. How say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain, or to your hiding place? For, lo, the wicked bend their bow. They make ready their arrow upon the string that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.” What this is saying, what this Psalmist is saying, believed to be the Psalmist David, he is saying that there is a, a deliberate attempt, a deliberate attempt on the part of the wicked to destroy the upright. Now the movie industry what I call the movie house for short, the entertainment industry in this nation is wicked. It's vile and it's deliberately aimed to destroy the upright in heart. And what David is saying here, he says the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string. In other words, they load their weapon to destroy the upright in heart and then that gives more meaning verse number three, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Now the foundations of a society, the very foundation of America was established upon Christian principles. The foundation of our country was established upon the law of God. It doesn't mean, I'm not saying that every one of our forefathers were born-again believers. I'm not saying that but they had a Christian consensus and more of a Biblical worldview, a Christian worldview, a Protestant worldview than our national leaders have today. That's what I'm saying. So therefore there, as you look through the documents there's more references to the Holy Bible than any other book in our original documents of this nation but somebody has come in to destroy the foundations. The foundations are made up of not only Biblical concepts in the state house but Biblical concepts in the schoolhouse because the Bible was the basis of education in early America. In other words, it was the textbook. The Bible, the King James Bible, was the textbook. The foundation in the statehouse, foundation Biblical foundations in the schoolhouse, also in business, also it was the righteous people, the people as a whole, the populace as a whole in early America had a Biblical Protestant concept in order to, to operate society, everyday dealings but something him and talking about the movie house, something happened in the 1890's that began to attack the very righteous moral principles by which the average American live. It doesn't mean that everybody was a born-again saint in the 1890's but there was a greater Biblical righteous moral consensus among the people than there is today. But what happened between that time and now, we'll say approximately a hundred and ten years? Now going to the book of Matthew chapter number thirteen I want to read a parable of the tares and the wheat. Matthew 13:24 it says, “Another parable put he forth unto them saying the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field.” This nation was established as part of the kingdom of heaven. And some of you good folks may disagree with that, but the people that God sent over here in its early foundation were Israelites that had migrated across Europe, into Northwestern Europe, British Isles, across the ocean. Yes, we are Israelites. God planted this nation, started this nation with true Israelites, not Gentiles, not heathens but Christian Israelites. So we had good seed sowed in the field but when men slept, here's the problem. His enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. “But when the blade was sprung up and brought forth fruit then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? From whence then hath it tares?” “He said unto them,” and here's the key verse, here is the secret, where preachers have an obligation to step forward in their churches behind their pulpits as men of God, as watchman over the house of Israel and say something but they won't. Here is what they should say. “An enemy hath done this.” Folks when we see our great nation crumbling like it is, when we see our once great Christian nation crumbling at the very foundation, why aren't the preachers across America speaking up and exposing the enemy that is in the midst? They will not do it. Very few of them will call the names of the enemies that have helped destroy this nation and destroy our churches and destroy our youth. And I am not attempting to be a politically correct preacher so therefore I want to call some names on this program to show how this movie industry got started and by whom. But before I go to that point I want to read you a quote by Abraham Kuyper. He was a Dutch theologian. He was a dissenter. He was one that had the courage to speak up concerning the corruption in his day. I quote. “When principles run against your deepest convictions begin to win the day, Then battle is your calling and peace has become sin. You must at the price of dearest peace lay your convictions bare before friend and enemy with all the fire of your faith.” Unquote. Abraham Kuyper. He died in 1920. When sin becomes common and runs against my convictions then it's time for me to speak up. It's time for the preachers to speak up. I hold a book in my hand. It's entitled “How the Jews Invented Hollywood - an Empire of Their Own.” This ministry does not handle this book. We do not sell this book. In fact, this book is long out of print. You may try to find it yourself on the Internet or some used book store or someplace like that, but I'd like to quote from this book today because all it is, is just a history book. That's all it is. “An Empire of Their Own - How the Jews Invented Hollywood” by a man by the name of Neil Gabler and he's just simply writing the history of the development of the movie industry, the entertainment industry in this nation. And for over a hundred and ten years the American people have had the pleasure or should I say been cursed with the professional entertainment industry. No generation of people in days gone by, at home or abroad has experienced the exposure of ideas, events, actions real or made-up like the American people have in the last approximately a hundred and ten years. And this entertainment industry has developed into a multi-billion dollar industry. The desire for filthy lucre is a vicious terrible master over the minds of so many people. They will sell their soul and they will sell your soul and drag your soul to hell and drag your children's soul to hell if they can just make another dollar and satisfy their desire for filthy lucre, for an opulent lifestyle and for success. You notice I word, used the word amusement, the amusement industry, the entertainment industry. And the word amusement is simply defined as to keep agreeably occupied or interested, to keep somebody agreeably occupied or interested. It also, the word amuse means to think but it also means to divert, as to take the attention from serious thinking or serious thought. It means to beguile, which steals your time, your thinking, your productive activity, mainly to dispel boredom. No doubt some of your teenagers come to you and say I'm bored. Well, what do they do? They turn on the television and begin to, to engage their minds in the filth that is coming over the television and even the, the sensitive, sensitivity training that they are being engaged in unknowingly to change their moral values. But if you put a letter “A” in front of amuse or amusement, “A” it means no or negative, so you have no thinking and they say that even preschoolers today spend approximately four to four and a half hours before the television every day. That's the mothers and the fathers are falling down and advocating their authority in training their children. America has moved from innocent entertainment, innocent within, that's within the bounds of family and Christian moral values to a political and social agenda. Now this political and social agenda is actually changing our national culture. And but very seldom very seldom will you hear a man of God on television or in the pulpit or in a big auditorium somewhere expose this entertainment industry. Because he's running a risk of losing part of his congregation and losing part of his income. But folks we are in desperate trouble in this nation. We are in dire need of the Elijah's of God to stand up and expose the evil ones. As Jesus said in the parable an enemy that means someone that is deliberate, by design has created weapons to destroy us. Look at our churches. Some of them are downright degenerate. Our school houses, look at the violence in our country. Has that put, has that been put in the minds of our youth by accident? No, an enemy hath done this. What it has done, has created a Marxist mentality. You know there's such a thing as communism where we went through the Cold War, we went through the time when we felt threatened by nuclear weapons from the Soviet Union. Well, they bullied us and we bullied them back and eventually Communism fell. That is the active militaristic Cold War concept came to an end but Marxism is still alive. Marxism is a mentality. Marxism is a philosophy. Marxism is training principles mixed in with our traditional educational programs in America all the way from, from kindergarten right on up through universities and it has poisoned the minds of our people. Professors are Marxist today. They're not out on the street carrying placards saying USSR over the USA. They are devilish. They are conspiratorial. They have gotten into our school systems. In fact I wouldn't even put it past the idea that some of them are writing Sunday school literature for some denominations sneaking in the philosophies of Marxism, cultural change and they are self-appointed social change agents that are in our educational systems, in the church, religious institutions, in the secular educational programs of the public school, universities, etc. It's everywhere. It's definitely coming out of the mouths of politicians. The men that started the movie industry in America were unholy and un-American. In this book, this history book that I hold in my hand that I found to be so helpful and it's, it's in other books also, the entertainment industry that I'm talking about includes professional sports, television, movie industries and the theater, whether it be the live theater or motion pictures that I'm referring to as the movie house as a general term, they were founded by men who had an insatiable desire for success and money and an opulent rich lifestyle. And they have no regard for Christian morality. None. They have no regard for individuals. They have no regard for their own souls or for your soul or mine, and they knew how to package their filth, how to package their evil so that it would be enticing to not only the adults, but especially the youth. And these men, I may not have time on the program today to give you their names but I will give you their names on the following program because we must know our enemy. You see the church world hides its head in the sand. Preachers are talking about Hansel and Gretel stories so to speak. They're just patting people on the head, keeping them happy when there's a wolf at the door to devour them and devour their youth and their families. The Bible tells us that when St. Paul was in Athens he saw how the city was so given over to idols. It was given over to false worship, false gods just like it has invaded America. But in Acts chapter seventeen in verse sixteen it says, “Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him. His spirit was stirred in him when he saw the city wholly given over to idolatry.” I think it's time for preachers to be disturbed in their nest. I think it's time for the preachers of this nation to lay aside their golf clothes and their, their games, their computer games and go to their knees and get the fire of God in their spirit and get the fire of God in their soul and begin to expose the evil ones, not just the evil things and practice, but evil people that are in our nation that has eaten away at the very foundations of this once great Christian nation. And God help us to raise up. God help us to raise up a host of young men that have the courage to be a part of the Elijah ministry, to call the fathers, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers because otherwise the Lord said he would send a curse upon the earth. TIH 554 Welcome once again to Truth in History program as we continue our series on What's Wrong With America. But regardless of what is wrong, Jesus Christ is still our only hope. Jesus Christ is still on the throne. The Bible is still the Bible, regardless of how corrupt our society may become. The Word of God never changes because it is immutable. Out of his mouth the Word of God came. Out of the Lord's mouth and that Word is forever steadfast and settled in heaven. That's what the record says. And as we continue our series today, we're talking about what is wrong with the movie house and what I have termed the movie house is the entertainment industry in America because the movie house is a term that is basically indicative of the entertainment world whether it be sports or movies or theater, whether it be live theater or a motion picture theater. That has had, that industry has had an impact upon the morals of our great nation and has been a very evil and corrupting element among, not only the adults but among our youth. Let us have a word of prayer. Father in heaven, we pray this day in Jesus name that you would curse your enemies. We pray the imprecatory prayers, the imprecatory prayers of Scripture that you would bring your enemies down and exalt the righteous in this nation. Bring the reign of iniquity to an end in Jesus name. Bring the dominion of lawlessness to a sudden end and we pray that you would curse the wicked and the wickedness and we pray that you would exalt righteousness and the holy and the clean and the pure in Jesus name we pray. Amen. We find in our text in Matthew chapter thirteen it says, “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field. But while men slept his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.” And when the servants of the householder came and inquired, what shall we do, where did these come from, this is the answer that our Lord gave, that the householder spoke to his servants in this parable. “He said unto them an enemy hath done this.” An enemy hath come in and done this to the kingdom of God. Now jumping down to verse 36, “Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house and his disciples came unto him saying declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. He answered and said unto them, he that soweth the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom,” are children, the good seed are not just good ideas, not just the gospel, but they're the children of the kingdom but the tares are the children of the wicked one. “The enemy that sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the world and the reapers are the angels.” Now we're talking about the children of the kingdom being the wheat and Jesus made it very clear to his disciples that the kingdom has a mixture in it of good and bad and he said that the wheat represents children of the kingdom and the tares represents the children of the wicked one, Satan, the devil. The tares are the children of the wicked one not just ideas of the wicked one but the tares of the wicked one. Now last time I pointed out the fact that I bought a book sometime back to help explain the origin. This is just a history book. That's all it is. It's entitled “How the Jews Invented Hollywood – an Empire of Their Own” by Neil Gabler. Now this ministry does not sell this book so there's no need to call and try to order this book from us. It's probably out of print. But it tells us the origin of the entertainment industry and Hollywood, and I'm quoting from this man, Neil Gabler, I'm quoting from him and there's other sources to find this information, but it's very clear that we must know who started the industry and who runs the industry, the movie industry today. And in this book “An empire of Their Own” he lists the moguls, Neil Gabler lists the moguls who founded the major movie houses and television corporations and among them he names Carl Laemmle or Laemmle, however you want to pronounce it, and he identified him as a German-born Jew that started Universal Pictures, and also number two Adolph Zukor an Hungarian-born Jew of Paramount Pictures, number three William Fox an Hungarian-born Jew of Fox Film Corporation, number four Louis B. Mayer or “Myra,” however you want to pronounce it, a Russian-born Jew of Metro Goldwyn Mayer and then the last one that he mentions in this list is Benjamin Warner, a Polish-born Jew of Warner Bros. Now this industry, as we all know when Thomas Edison came up with the movie camera he did not intend for this to be used in any devious wicked way to pervert the morals of the American people. And he started a corporation to protect his inventions but somehow these powerful Jewish moguls got a hold of this idea and got a hold of the cameras and they saw the corruption that was already in New York City, they saw all the peak shows and they noticed that the American people of New York City is where most of them came to were attracted to the theaters that they had in that day, a lot of live theaters. Well by then you know the first striptease artist or entertainer whatever you want to call her was Jewish, a young Jewish lady from New Orleans. She came up during the 1860's, early 1860's and one of the things that she did, she bobbed her hair and bare her body before a live audience in New York. This was in the early 1860's during what we call quote “the Civil War or Lincolns War” whatever you want to call it, and the American people, the sinful nature of men and women was attracted to this. So by the time of the 1890's when these men came over from Eastern Europe, from Poland, East Germany, Hungary, when they came over, they saw the opportunity to engage in an industry of filth, of pornography, of sexual perversion and they set out to change the morals of the American people. Most of these men came over like in the 1880's, 1890's and they set out to change the face of America and they have done it. And these movie industries or television corporations still exist. And Christian friend, if you attend these movie houses and you watch these movies and you pay for your ticket, you are supporting that industry. You might say well, you know, I don't go to triple X movies at the theater. Maybe you don't but if you go to that movie house that played one previously and you watch what you think is an innocent movie, you are still supporting that industry. You see, Christian people should separate themselves from the filth of the world. Christian people should have a, have a godly mentality, a Christ-centered mentality instead of a worldly mentality. If you want entertainment, read the Scriptures. Read a good book, a history book or a devotional book. Have family devotions. Pray. Watch something that is Christian, clean and pure. Whatsoever is pure and holy and righteous and of good report, think on these things said the apostle Paul. But the author of this book, Neil Gabler, quoted a man by the name of Will Hayes and this is what he said, quote, “The quintessence of what we mean by America was founded and for more than thirty years operated by Eastern European Jews who themselves seem to be anything but the quintessence of America.” Unquote. And then he goes on, “The much vaunted studio system which provided a prodigious supply of films during the movies' hayday was supervised by a second generation of Jews many of whom also regarded themselves as marginal men trying to punch into the American mainstream.” Unquote. And then he said this, quote. “What really created a Jewish network and populated the amusement with Jews were the friends and the relatives who came aboard as investors and employees and then used their experience to embark on their own ventures.” Unquote. They do not believe these men as adherents of Judaism whether they were practicing Jews or non-practicing Jews, they do not accept, they did not accept the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. They do not accept the Bible as being inspired of God. They do not accept the New Testament as being valid and given by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. They did not believe in Christian morality. In fact the book goes on to say that some of these men when they, when they became wealthy and popular and living a life of sensuality they divorced their first wife, and they would marry these sensuous gentile women to satisfy their own lust. These were men of corrupt minds. We read these Scriptures in the Bible that says whose God is their belly, but preachers shrink back from exposing these evil ones because they will lose respectability; they will lose offerings. They will lose popularity, but it is time in America, we are in desperate straits my friend. It is time for men of God to lay aside their video games and golf clubs, and get their nose in the Scripture and their knees down on the ground before God and have some backbone and some fire of God in their souls to expose the evil ones that are among us. And many of these men and it's a long story but many of these men went on later on during World War I and after World War I to produce pro-communist movies to actually stir up racial strife in America. It was proven, I'm not making it up. These were men that were out to destroy a once Christian culture. And now we see the devastated carnage of bodies of minds and lives of millions of victims, especially among the youth of America. What are they promoting today? Same-sex marriages, homosexual couples in many of the movies, in commercials. Let's recognize an evil when we see it. This may, this next name may be new to a lot of people, but years ago when the U.S. Congress had the house of un-American activities committee to investigate a lot of these things that went on in America, Martin Dies of this committee as far back as 1949, said this. Karl Marx was locked in mortal combat with Jesus Christ for the future of Western civilization and he believed that because he knew as a Christian man, and that's a quote that I took right out of this book. But we need men such as Martin Dies that will expose the evil in our government and preachers to expose the evil in our government and society and churches at large. We don't need anymore passive preachers; we need prophets. America needs prophets and I don't mean prophets for profit to stuff their pockets full of gold and silver. I mean men of God like Elijah. In this book is quoted, is given a quote by Congressman John Ranton of that same committee concerning the movie industry owners, managers, screenwriters and actors and this is the quote. “They are now trying to take over the movie picture industry and they howl to high heaven when our committee on un-American activities proposed to investigate them. They want to spread their un-American propaganda as well as their loathsome, lying, immoral, anti-Christian filth before the eyes of your children in every community in America.” Unquote. These sinister forces, they comprise the den of iniquity. They are part of the den of iniquity. They have promoted Marxism. Yes they have promoted Marxism, the concepts of Marx not with guns, not with cannons, not with bombs but with evil philosophies and sensitivity training and political correctness and everything else that they can use against us, even our own Constitution and Bill of Rights they're using against Christian people in America to destroy this once great Christian nation. I want to read a quote, this quote is by Norman Thomas. Norman Thomas was the presidential candidate for the Socialist party in 1944. Some of you older folks might even remember that but this is what he said, quote, “The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one day America will be a socialist nation without knowing it, how it happened. I no longer need to run as a presidential candidate for the Socialist Party. There is a political party that has already adopted our platform." Unquote. Norman Thomas, 1944 the presidential candidate for the Socialist party. There are men, wise men in Russia today that are saying America is a socialist nation. Why? An enemy hath done this is what Jesus said. But preachers and the prophets were called to be the watchman on the wall. But what happened? What has happened, it said. Jesus said while men slept. But I want to read a verse of Scripture in Jeremiah chapter twelve. It says this. “Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard. They have trodden my portion underfoot. They have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness, saith the Lord.” Jeremiah chapter 12 verses 8 through 10 has that verse. Who destroyed my vineyard? The watchmen that were asleep. Isaiah said the watchmen are like dumb dogs that cannot bark, perfidious persons. What is a perfidious person? It means, perfidy means the deliberate breaking of faith, betrayal of trust, being treacherous and I have listed perfidious persons as pastors, preachers, professors, prophets and priests. You know why. They emulate politicians, the press, psychologists, promoters and professionals. Preachers want to be professional. Preachers want ecclesiastical acceptance and most of them will sacrifice their convictions for acceptance among the world and popularity. In this politically correct church age, pastors have become promoters. Preachers have become psychologists. The so-called prophets have become profiteers. Priests have become pedophiles. Parsons have become professionals. Prayer warriors have become party masters. Patriarchs have become men pleasers. Patriots have become pacifists. Purists have become paganists. Passion has become passive. Prayer has become parades and power has become pleasure. And I praying the same prayer that the Lord put forth in the mouth of Elijah to turn the hearts of the children back to the fathers, these fathers, our ancient Hebrew fathers and to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children or the next generation. God give us men that will stand up and preach the Word of God without fear or favor. Zachariah, not Zachariah, excuse me, but Malachi said these words, “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to the fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” We have been smitten with a curse because friends national sins result in national calamities. In 2012 we had something like a dozen natural, natural calamities, fires, hurricanes, fires, wind storms, tornadoes those type of things. God has our number and it's going to get worse in this nation because we're under a curse because we have broken the covenants. We have defied the laws of Almighty God. We have shaken our fists in his face and now it's payday. God richly bless you until next time in Jesus name. Amen.
