Truth versus Tradition

Sometimes it is necessary to evaluate the things that you know and feel that are the truth. There has been a lot of false teaching in the Christian church, traditions passed down from Bible College to Bible teachers. There are a lot of traditions that you have grown up with in your religious life, because so many times you get used to religious clichés and religious terms that really are not Biblically accurate. Check the word of God and share this truth as you grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Christianity as a faith has been based upon facts, so therefore if our facts are wrong, then it leads our faith astray.Go back and read the word of God all over again and evaluate the presuppositions. This will inevitably bring out some things that are being taught as wrong ideas.

These are some of the traditions of men:

1. Only the Jewish are Semites.
2. Abraham was a Jew.
3. All Israelites are Jews.
4. Israelites of the Northern Kingdom returned and amalgamated with the Southern tribe of Judah and went into the Babylonian captivity.
