![]() The Hexagram Has Christianity adopted some of the ways of the heathen? Has Christianity through syncretism, just kind of give a little here and give a little there and, and make our Christianity compatible with that of the heathen nations where we won't offend them? Well, we have in too many ways, in too many times, we have done that. We have compromised. But we must understand, we must understand that Christianity is not a religion, true Apostolic Christianity is not a religion of signs and symbols. Basically, the only two rites that the New Testament gives the Christian is water baptism and communion. And other than that, we don't need symbols. We don't need flags. We don't need a lot of the things that other religions have. Now the shield of David or the star of David, or it's oftentimes found in pictures, in Sunday School books with David and his soldiers, King David that is, and his soldiers going out to war with this six-pointed star on it. But there's no proof that they ever had that six-pointed star on their shields.
