Revelation Series
Revelation Series

Ordinarily the concepts that are taught concerning the Books of Daniel and Revelation are all bad, negative, tribulation, hardship, persecution, murder, martyrdom, the antichrist, the false prophet, the beast, everything that would be frightening to an individual. This is generally the way the Book of Revelation is presented. It's ordinarily taught that from chapter four and verse one on is all crammed into a short period of seven years called the Tribulation. This has become ingrained in the minds of so many Christian people and there are programs, seminars, videos, audiotapes, and workbooks that just go on and on concerning this concept. Men have been made millionaires by selling books with fictitious accounts of the Book of Revelation. But I want to be honest with you, that as we approach this book there have been some great minds that have gone on before us to help us understand this book. Currently there are three popular viewpoints, the preterist view, the historicist view, the futurist view. Follow us through this often misunderstood area of Bible prophecy.

Symbols of Rulership
TIH 534 Once again I want to say thank you for joining me here on Truth in History as we pursue the subject of the symbols of rulership that Jesus Christ possesses and that is pictured to us in the book of Revelation. This is part of our Revelations series so therefore, there's a lot of detail that we are trying to cover, a lot of material that we're trying to cover because this book of Bible as a whole and also the book of Revelation is so full of wonderful truths that it is a shame to just jump over these things and, and just kind of hit the high spots because we want to know and I'm sure that you want to know, those of you who are serious Bible students want to know what this Revelation letter has to say concerning the Lord Jesus Christ and the end times. Now we know and I realize that we are living in the last days and but the whole church age has been in the last days. In fact Peter interpreted the prophecy, the promise of the Holy Spirit that was given by the prophet Joel. Peter said in the last days I will pour out my Spirit, the Lord said I will pour out my Spirit and that's been 2000 years ago. So if Peter was living in the last days we're definitely living in the last days, as somebody has said the last of the last days, but the point that I want to make, the, the truth that is so evident in this book that I believe has been perverted or either forgotten or either changed to fit church creeds and that is the rulership of Jesus Christ, the kingship of Jesus Christ. Most believers, most believers in the evangelical camp have adopted this theory that the Lord Jesus Christ is going to come and he's going to take away all the good people just take them away and that is ordinarily called the rapture of the church. And I mention this again because it is such a big fallacy. The rapture of the church is a fallacy folks. And it, what it does it abdicates the authority of the church living in our culture. It denies the Lordship, the Kingship of Jesus Christ over the nations. And you say well that's going to take place after he comes back, after the rapture, after the seven-year tribulation. Well the seven-year tribulation concept yet future is a fallacy also because the theologians have taken the seventieth week of the prophet Daniel and put it way out into the future, two thousand years after Calvary and twenty five hundred years after the prophecy was given. So what we are teaching and what we are saying is that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back to execute his kingship and I want to read this Scripture as we approach this subject today and I want you to accept this in full faith, in good faith. Now occasionally and, and just recently I got a phone call. A man left a message on the phone and he seemed to be very upset and he was so disturbed because I said something that he did not believe. And folks, that's to be expected just for a speaker to say something that you don't believe because there are so many ideas and so many splinters, so many different groups of Christianity, so many different areas of thought, especially on prophecy but there's no need to get upset over it and to get mad. And some of these phone calls I just have to chuckle. I'm not going to get mad. I'm not going to let that disturb my spirit. But this man and generally these phone calls all take the same pattern of thought. They try to qualify themselves. I've been a, for example, I have been a, a student of the Bible for forty years or fifty years and I've read two hundred books on the subject and I have … studied at this college or that college and I've gone to these seminars and it's got to be right. This must be right because I've done all this study. Well let me say this. I don't care how smart you. I don't care how smart I am or how dumb we are or how much we think we're informed on any particular subject. We must have a teachable spirit. I want to have a teachable spirit so that if I'm shown something where I am wrong and I'm mistaken concerning a principle in God's Word, I want to be able to change. I have been faced with that in my Ministry and I've had to change. I've had to change on what you might call big beliefs and small beliefs, major things and minor things. I've had to change. So let's have a teachable spirit as we approach these things. The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is coming back. The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is returning and the apostle Paul in II Thessalonians gives us the nature of his coming and in chapter one of II Thessalonians chapter two. This is what the apostle Paul is teaching to the Thessalonians. Verse number seven, “And to you who are troubled 'rest' with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels.” And you notice the nature of this coming number one. This is verse eight. But the first nature of his coming is this, “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God.” That does not sound like a rapture. That does not sound like he's coming for the good people because ordinarily, this rapture concept teaches that the good people are going to be snatched away secretly and their clothes will be left on the floor of the bedroom or the driver of a bus will be missing or a Christian wife will be snatched out of bed and her nightgown will stay right there by her sinner husband. No, the Bible tells us he's coming “in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall be punished with ever lasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the power or the glory of his power when he shall come to be glorified in his saints and to be admired in all them that believe because our testimony among you was believed in that day.” So he is saying that there's a dual nature to the coming of Jesus Christ, taking vengeance upon the wicked and also to be glorified in his saints. Now concerning the symbols of rulership that the Lord Jesus Christ is given in the book of Revelation and elsewhere in Scripture, I have listed six of them: a throne, and we have talked about that, a scepter, a key, a crown, a sword and a rod. And being that we have talked about the throne, let's go to number two which is the scepter. What is a scepter? A scepter is a highly ornamented rod or staff denoting royal authority. Now in Genesis chapter 49 there's an interesting statement made by Jacob when he is blessing each of his twelve sons and when it comes to the scepter, when he comes to Judah, when he comes to his son Judah, he says Judah is a lion's whelp. Now we all know that the lion is the symbol of the tribe of Judah. Judah is a lion's whelp. From the prey my son thou art gone up. He stooped down. He couched as a lion as an, as an old lion who shall rise, rouse him up. The scepter shall not depart from Judah nor a lawgiver from between his feet until Shiloh come. You notice that there's two concepts that go together in this verse, the scepter and lawgiver because the scepter concept is the idea that this king has royal authority to make and issue laws. A scepter is that symbol representing his authority to make a law and to issue that law to the subjects of his kingdom. So who is this one? A scepter shall not depart from Judah and that actually means that from Judah this royal tribe that existed ever since the days of Jacob and immediately following, that tribe had the royal authority within national Israel to utter laws, to issue laws, to enforce laws because that was the royal tribe and the kings of Israel and Judah came from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet. In other words be birthed out of the tribe of Judah there was going to be this line of kings, a line of kings to be rulers over the house of Israel until Shiloh come. Shiloh is a reference to the Lord Jesus Christ because it tells us until Shiloh comes. And Shiloh, the word Shiloh means he to whom the kingdom rightly belongs, he to who the kingdom rightly belongs. So this line of kings is going to exist until Jesus comes and then he's going to assume this royal authority to issue laws and to enforce laws. So Jesus Christ holds this scepter. In Isaiah chapter two we read these wonderful words. Well, let's, let's go to the book of Numbers at this point. Numbers chapter twenty four and verse seventeen, 24:17. This is Balaam's prophecy and he is saying this. “I shall see him but not now. I shall behold him but not nigh. There shall come a Star out of Jacob and a Scepter shall rise out of Israel.” And this word scepter is actually capitalized which denotes that he is the scepter. He is the royal authority. And the reason why I stress these things folks is because I want to impress upon each one of us that Jesus Christ is not only our Savior, He is King and is going to be King of Kings over all other kings in the earth and he's going to come and sit upon the throne of his father David. Let's not deny him his kingship and it's the throne of David was not in heaven somewhere. The throne of David is right here on this earth. So Jesus Christ is going to possess an earthly kingdom. In Daniel chapter two and verse forty four it says the Lord God shall set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed. That's here on the earth and Jesus Christ is going to reign as King. In Isaiah chapter two we see this. “The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, And it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains.” That's not heaven. That's right here because mountain denotes a kingdom and it says that the Lord's kingdom, the Lord's house is going to be established in the top of the mountains, plural, over all other kingdoms on the earth and his is going to be over those. His authority is going to be superimposed over all the other kings and their authority so it's going to an earthly kingdom. There's a wonderful thing going to happen on this earth. This earth is in for a wonderful, wonderful surprise when other theologies and other schools of thought are teaching a a big boogyman to come on the earth and, and all torment is going to break loose and a one world government. That's what man is striving for, but it's not going to happen. It's not going to happen with one big Superman called the Antichrist sitting on the top of the earth governing the world. No, the one world government that is yet to come is going to be the kingdom of Jesus Christ. This world is in for a wonderful surprise when the Lord Jesus returns with his mighty angels. And in Isaiah chapter two, “It shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills,” the smaller kingdoms represented by the word hills, “and all nations shall flow unto it.” These other nations are going to flow unto Mount Zion and this Mt. Zion is not over in Palestine. This is going to be a New Jerusalem, a new one not an old one. This is, this Mount Zion is a heavenly Mt. Zion, a place of authority. “And many people shall go and say come ye let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths for out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” That's typical of the scepter concept that we see in the Bible that belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ. In Psalm forty five we go to this wonderful verse of Scripture and we read where the Lord Jesus Christ in Psalm forty five, verse number six it says, “Thy throne O God is forever and ever. The scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter,” right meaning righteous. I get so enthused and excited over this truth because there are so many wrongs in this world, in our nation, in our states, in our cities, so many crooked politicians, so much trickery, political intrigue. There is so many wrongs committed by international bankers and banking houses, people being cheated, people losing their home, people being overcharged, so many taxes, so many unjust laws, so many unfair dealings in politics and in the commercial world, so many crooked politicians and crooked preachers and crooked professors lying to students but God's kingdom is going to be righteous. His authority is going to be a right scepter. And when the Lord Jesus Christ comes back and executes his authority symbolized by this scepter, this rod of righteousness, everything is going to be equitable and it's going to be fair. There's hope. Don't be looking for the Antichrist. Be looking for the Christ. Don't be scared by all these prophecy preachers that are just preaching doom and gloom. Look up for our redemption draweth nigh is what the Lord Jesus said. He didn't say look up or look for an antichrist. He said look for my coming. Look for the King of Kings and for a righteous judgment. This is the nature of the kingdom of the Lord Jesus. Psalm forty five verses six and seven, “Thou lovest righteousness and hateth iniquity, therefore God thy God hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellow priests.” Well it's such a wonderful thing to be talking about what's in store for this planet. I want to make a free offer on this program and that is a copy of our magazine. If you have never received a copy of Truth in History magazine write to us or call us. We will be glad to send you a free copy of this magazine. Also on the book, on the back there are books and booklets that, that can be ordered from this ministry. Now this is free. This magazine will come to you free of charge and will come each issue if you desire, and it will come as long as, until you tell us to take your name off the magazine list. But I have a book here entitled The Book of Revelation From an Israelite and Historicist Interpretation.” Now this is a rare approach. It's a Biblical approach. It's an unusual approach. It's offer number 301 and we're asking for a ministry gift of twelve dollars for this book. It's well worth it and we try to keep the cost of our materials low and affordable but it will help you understand the Historicist approach to prophecy and I don't know how to stress the Historicist approach. It's the approach that our Protestant forefathers took in their interpretation of the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation and it will be an eye-opener, I believe, a real eye opener to you in your understanding of the book of Revelation. And there are three basic approaches based well, there's four. The fourth one is a spiritual approach. But there's the Futurist approach that you hear about all the time from preachers across America. Then there's the Preterist approach and then there's the Historicist approach and this book is from the Historicist approach. So everyone needs to be informed concerning that. Back to our subject of the scepter that the Lord Jesus Christ holds and that we find repeated in the book of Hebrews in chapter number one, we find Hebrews chapter one and verse number eight is actually a repeat of Psalm forty five verses six and seven, “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne O God is forever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom,” a scepter of equity and fairness. Hallelujah. Some day all these wrongs will be rectified. “Thou hast loved righteousness and hated iniquity, therefore God even thy God hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.” And what it means above thy fellows, above thy fellow priest because they're are many priest of the priesthood of Levi or Aaron. That's the Levitical priesthood but the priest that we serve, the priest that paid for our sins is the Levitical priest, not the Levitical priest but the Melchizedek priest. And here's the Levitical priesthood and the Melchizedek priesthood is above that and Jesus Christ is our Melchizedek priest and the Melchizedek priest is a dual office of priesthood and kingship, King-Priest. That's Melchizedek and he's coming as a priest that has completed his work but he's coming as a king to rule over the house of Jacob forever. And there's wonderful wonderful things yet in store for us the body of Christ and the world at large. God bless you until we come again next time.

Part 58

Symbols of Rulership
TIH 535 Thank you very much for joining me here on Truth in History as we continue our Revelation series and speaking specifically to the idea of the rulership of Jesus Christ and the sym symbols of his rulership that are mentioned in the Bible, the symbols of his rulership and they are throne, scepter, key, crown, sharp sword and a rod of iron and our text is taken from Revelation nineteen, beginning with verse eleven, “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse,” that right there denotes victory and it not only denotes victory but victory after a battle because the Roman generals would come back from a battle riding their great white horse and that was the symbol that he had defeated his enemies. “And he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire and on his head were many crowns. And he had a name written that no man knew but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood and his name is called the Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.” So we see Jesus Christ returning symbolically on a white horse and the armies which followed him. That makes him worthy of the title Yahweh Sabbaoth, Yahweh Sabbaoth meaning the God of Armies. And the Old Testament, in the Old Testament God was called the God of Hosts or the Lord God of Hosts, Host meaning many armies, Sabaoth. So Jesus Christ is the God of the Old Testament made flesh victorious over his enemies and coming back in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God. Now the symbol that I would like to speak about today is a crown. What is a crown? It's a head ornament, we know that, and it's a sign of honor. It's a sign of victory. It's a sign of respect. It's a sign of being lifted up high above the other people around or in the kingdom. So therefore the Bible tells us that on his head were many crowns. Now only one crown could fit on the head of a person at anyone time. So within this crown, the way I look at it, the way I see it, this one crown is decorated ornamented no doubt with many jewels denoting the victory over many armies, many opposing armies. And also it could mean that the twelve stones of the representing the twelve tribes of Jacob, the twelve tribes of Israel, maybe that would be appropriate to consider to be a crown, each one being a crown to make a plurality of crowns that he is wearing because he is the King over the house of Israel, all twelve tribes. And there's this misconception within the body of Christ today and it's just ever so widespread, and that is the house of Israel is comprised only of the Jewish people. So you're constantly hearing about the Jewish people, the Jews come out of Egypt, the Jews of the Old Testament, Abraham was a Jew. Isaac was a Jew … Jacob was a Jew. Nothing could be further from the truth, my friends. Nothing could be more wrong. How could Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, be Jews because they were the ancestors of Judah? It's not proper. It's not legal. It's not right. It's not moral to rename your ancestors. If you're living we'll say in America but your great-grandfather lived in France well don't call him an American. He's, he was a Frenchman. Well, that's what these theologians and Bible teachers are doing on television and in the pulpits all the time renaming re- identifying Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as Jews. And if Abraham was a Jew that means his father was a Jew and his father was a Jew all the way back to Adam, so Adam would have to be a Jew. So we must rightly divide the Word of God or let the Word of God rightly divide itself. We must allow God to be God whatever he has said in this book, so therefore crowns the Lord Jesus wearing a crown in his return to this earth. Now in Revelation fourteen and verse fourteen we read this, “And I looked, and behold a white cloud and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of Man having on his head a golden crown and in his hand a sharp sickle.” And a sickle is an instrument of harvest like you're going to go out and harvest the wheat or the barley or some type of grain. He's coming back wearing a crown, a golden crown and a sharp sickle in his hand. “And another angel came out of the throne or out of the temple, excuse me, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud. Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.” Now there is another symbol of rulership and that is the sharp sword. A sword is ordinarily spoken of or referred to as … an instrument for fighting, an instrument of war and death. But the Bible tells us that in Revelation nineteen in verse number fifteen, “And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword that with it he should smite the nations,” … to smite the nations. In other words the sword that is going out of his mouth is not a literal sword. It's the spoken Word because in Ephesians a verse that we all know Ephesians 6:17 we read this concerning the sword, Ephesians chapter six verse seventeen, “Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Now how is the Lord Jesus going to slay the wicked? How is he going to fight his battles? How is he going to wield his sword? It's his spoken word, not a literal sword, because it tells us in Hebrews chapter four and verse twelve, “For the Word of God is quick, it's powerful. It's sharper than any two edged sword and it pierces, it divides asunder the soul and the spirit, the joints and the marrow, discerner of the heart or the thoughts and intents of the heart.” The sword that comes out of the mouth of the Lord Jesus is his Word. When he utters a decree bring mine enemies before me and slay them that's his Word and that is found in the book of Luke, chapter number nineteen and I'm turning there to Luke nineteen and verse number twenty seven. Now we ordinarily think of the Lord Jesus as being meek and mild compassionate, very soft, very loving and he is all that and more. But when he was on this earth he knew that he had enemies. Jesus knew that he had enemies that were out to kill him. And the Bible is very clear in the Gospels, it was the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the scribes, the chief priests, the Jewish hierarchy in other words, and there's even a phrase in the scriptures that says “And they sought how they might take him and slay him.” In Luke 19:27 Jesus gives a parable of the ten pounds and he gave them to his servants, different pounds, talents, to different servants. And at the very end of this he gives a statement that is somewhat staggering. Those who have abused my talents that I have given them, and he was talking about the Jewish nation. He was standing in Judea. He was standing in Jerusalem. He knew that these people that were custodians of the Word of God, the priesthood, they were supposed to have been the custodians of the Law of God, abused the Law of God, and this is what Jesus said concerning them. “But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring them and slay them before me.” These are the words of a loving, compassionate Savior? Yes, these are the words. We must allow God to be God. Now as we go back to the Old Testament to the book of Joshua and this is what we read in the book of Joshua. This is the story of a theophany, Joshua chapter five, verse thirteen. A theophany is the appearance of God because theo means God, the appearance of God as in visible form, in a physical, visible form. So it must be Jesus Christ before his natural birth. That's a theophany. In other words, the appearance of Christ before his birth. Joshua chapter five, verse thirteen, “And it came to pass when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked and behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand. And Joshua went unto him and said unto him, Art thou for us or for our adversaries? And he said Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come.” Who is the captain of the host or the army of the Lord? Who is the captain? Jesus is the captain. He's the captain. He's the general of the Army. It tells us in Revelation nineteen the armies which followed him. Here he is proclaiming himself as the captain of the Lord's host. “Art thou for us or for our adversaries? And this person said nay but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come.” He's proclaiming himself as the captain of the Lord's host. “And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and did worship and said unto him what saith my Lord unto my servant.” In other words to receive worship, He had to be deity. This had to be the appearance of Jesus Christ before his physical birth. “And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.” Same thing happened to Moses. This had to be deity. This had to be Jesus Christ. He demanded worship but you notice he had in his hand a sharp sword, and this sword was drawn. It was unsheathed. It was ready to be swung at his enemies. Now Joshua was a warrior. This was just before a major battle going over into Canaan land and Jesus appears. Now what happened over in Canaan land? Joshua and the other Israelites invaded the land different cities, Jericho and Ai, and different places. They killed people. They actually killed people physically killed them. Jesus Christ appeared before the invasion of Canaan land so it, with his sword drawn. In other words I'm ready Joshua for you to go to war and kill these Canaanites. Doesn't sound like a loving Savior, does it? But let's examine the attribute of Jesus Christ as deity. The first attribute of God himself and that's Jesus Christ is holiness. We read earlier in a previous program in Psalm forty five and Hebrews chapter one where it says that Jesus Christ, He who holds the scepter loves righteousness and hates iniquity. The, the first primary attribute of deity, perfect deity is holiness, loving righteousness and hating iniquity. That's the two poles of a perfect battery, positive and negative. Jesus Christ said bring mine enemies before me that would not be willing for me to reign over them and slay them. Who do you think his enemies are? Who do you think is not willing for Jesus Christ to reign over them? What happened in 70 A.D.? That was the sword of the Lord. Just like in Gideon's day the sword of the Lord and of Gideon. Just like in Joshua's day, literally went into Canaan land and killed thousands of Canaanites. That's going to happen again to those who refuses for Jesus Christ to reign over them. It sounds like, well this is not in character with a loving Savior. Remember holiness. Did he make a place of a bliss, a place of bliss and beauty and comfort and rest and peace for the righteous? Well, what did he make for the wicked? What about life for the godly, death for the ungodly? We must have and we must recognize and accept God for who He is. Let God be God. If he wants to draw a sword let Him draw a sword. It's in the book. I'm not telling you anything that's not in the book of God because in Revelation nineteen and verse number fifteen, “And he shall rule them,” what the nations, “with a rod of iron and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and the wrath of Almighty God.” That's Jesus Christ. He's coming back. He's angry but He's holy and He's righteous in His judgment. If you have never received a copy of our ministry magazine just write us. We will be happy to send you this magazine Truth in History magazine absolutely free of charge. The magazine is free to you and on the back there's a list of the material that we make available … for you to take advantage of and to study further as to what this ministry is making available and preaching and teaching here on the air. And but I have a book that I would like to present to you as a book that will enlighten you concerning the different approaches to the interpretation of the book of Revelation. And folks, a lot of the book of Revelation is already fulfilled and this will show you that because this book a commentary that I have written and put together is from an Israelite standpoint not a Jewish standpoint, not a Jewish standpoint, not a Gentile standpoint but an Israelite standpoint. And you might say well what's the difference between Jew and Israel? There's a big difference. We must understand the division of the kingdom, the house of Israel and the house of Judah, the two women, the two sticks, the two daughters, the two separate capital cities, different kingly dynasties. They were different. They have different destinies. So this is from the Israelitish standpoint and also from the Historicist standpoint. And this, we will send you this for a ministry offering and gift of twelve dollars. So it's, it's our purpose to let God be God. And I know that I, I swim upstream on a lot of things that I'm saying because a lot of ministries will not present this side of the story. But in Matthew chapter twenty one we read where the Lord Jesus Christ himself talked about a vineyard and he lent this vineyard out. It's his vineyard. A certain householder planted a vineyard, and he went into a, a far country and he gave it to husbandmen. He was talking about the Judah nation and the rulership of the Judah nation in his day. And he says he sent for the time of the harvest and he sent a servant and they killed the servant. And he sent another servant and they killed him. He's talking about the Judah nation of his day. And finally at last he said unto them, I will send my son. Surely they will reverence my son. That's himself. He's talking about himself, Jesus talking about himself. And when the husbandman, that is the rulers of the Judah nation, the ruler of the Jews saw him, they said, come and let us kill him and let us seize, let us control, grab control of his kingdom. And what did the Lord say unto them. He rejected them. He caught them and he destroyed that kingdom that nation and he said I'm going to take the kingdom away from you and give it to another people, another nation that will bring forth the fruits of righteousness. Who is that nation? Now the destruction took place in 70 A.D. and folks when it took place it was brutal. But we see the nature of Jesus Christ concerning his enemies that would not have him to rule over them and he's going to reap the harvest of the wrath of God with a sharp sickle, and with a sharp sword of his Word He's going to utter the decree of destruction. And also He's going to rule the nations with a rod of iron but it's going to be a righteous rule. It's going to be a rule of equity and fairness. Jesus Christ knows who his enemies are and who his friends are and he does have enemies and he does have friends and he knows who to glorify and who to punish. And God bless you as you study his Word and I want to remind us again, let God be God. Let Jesus be Jesus of the Bible. God bless you.

Part 59

Symbols of Rulership
TIH 536 Once again I want to thank you for allowing me to come into your home or your place of business or wherever you may be in sharing the Word of God. We consider this a real privilege to have this opportunity to come and to share with you and just to communicate the word of God with those who have ears to hear. And that's what this ministry is all about speaking to those who have ears to hear. It doesn't appeal to everyone and that's understandable, but those who have an ear to hear and to allow the Word of God not to have any bounds. Let's take the bounds off the Word of God, denominational bounds, traditional bounds of our own minds and the limitations that we have placed upon Scripture. Let's be believers where the Word of God is not bound. We have been talking about the symbols of rulership and we have talked about throne and scepter, crown, sharp sword, rod of iron but today we want to talk about a very interesting one called a key. Now this key is called the Key of David. Why the Key of David? As we read the book of Revelation and we come to chapter three and verse seven, this is the message to the angel of the church at Philadelphia. Very interesting. We read these words. “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth, and shutteth, and no man openeth.” Then he goes on to say to these saints at Philadelphia, “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it.” Now do we find anything in the scriptures to help us explain and to identify what is the Key of David? In the book of Isaiah, if you are available to pick up your Bible and to turn to the book of Isaiah I want to talk about a passage of scripture in the twenty second chapter. I think that this will explain what is the Key of David. The Key of David is not just something spiritual. It's an ability. It's an office. It's a responsibility that involves knowledge and ability to perform an oath or to carry out a job. Now the Lord gave David several things. And I want to read you this list of things that the Lord gave David. The Lord gave David a horn, a house which is equivalent to a lineage, a root, a city, a covenant, a throne, a tabernacle, a Greater Son, a light, a kingdom and a key. And the key of David is referred to in Isaiah chapter twenty two and beginning with verse number fifteen. And I'm going to try to cover this whole thing in one program so that we can get a clear understanding without interruption as to what is this key. Verse 15, “Thus saith the Lord God of Hosts, go get thee unto this treasurer even unto Shebna, which is over the house and say, What hast thou here? And whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulcher here as he that heweth him out a sepulcher on high, and that graveth a habitation for himself in a rock?” Now what is the Lord saying to this man Shebna? In the house of Judah or the nation of Judah at that time seven hundred years before Christ there were different offices just like there's different offices and responsibilities in a government today. This man was the treasurer not necessarily over just money like the US Secretary of the Treasury, but they had in their treasury produce you know such as beans and, and wheat and barley and rye and fruit and so forth and he was in charge of that but it belonged to the king. It belonged to the royal house of David. It belonged to the royal family. And just like the treasury of the United States. There's a secretary over that treasury but it doesn't belong to him. It belongs to the people. It belongs they say to the government and the government belongs to the people. Rightfully so. And this man Shebna who was a, a treasurer over the treasury of the house of Judah the Lord asked him a question. What in the world are you doing with all this money? What you have done, you have gone out and hewed you out, cut you out, hired workmen, in other words, you have hired workmen to cut out of the mountain a grave or a sepulcher for you. Why are you using public funds for personal use? That's the way we would put it today. Why are you using personal funds to build a monument so that you can be buried in this sepulcher, in this grave and have a great big marker for you can be remembered after your death. In other words the man was a crook. That's the bottom line putting it in plain English. This man Shebna was a crook in misuse and misappropriation of public funds and public possessions. We have that same problem today. Men, common men, we send them to Washington. They have a job. They're doing good to pay their bills and so forth and they're down here on our level. But after spending so many years in Washington, they're rich. They're millionaires. How does this come about? Because of the misuse of funds or either the shenanigans that they use with the lobbyists in getting certain bills passed so that they can get a kickback. It's happened more than once. It's probably happening right now as I speak. So that's the concept. The man was in charge of the treasury but he was using public funds, misappropriating public funds for his own use. And he must have been a proud character because he wanted this elaborate grave or sepulcher for himself where people could remember him by. So a key denotes authority to control. This man had the ability to open the treasury or shut the treasury. It was at his discretion. It also means access in executing certain delegated responsibilities in government. Also to access the assets, access to the assets that belong to the public. Verse number 17, “Behold the Lord will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee.” This man, this phrase, excuse me, this phrase cover thee means he will have to cover his face in shame. Verse 18, “He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there thou shalt die,” In other words, he's going to be deposed out of his office. God's going to overthrow him and kick him out of this public position. “And there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house.” He, he was probably buying chariots. He was probably buying a lot of things for himself and for his family, riding in pomp and in glory but the Lord said these chariots that are for your glory right now I'm going to turn them into shame. “And I will drive thee from thy station,” which means thy office, “and from thy state shall he pull thee down.” Now in verse 20 we are introduced to another man called Eliakim. “And it shall come to pass in that day that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah and I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle,” thy responsibilities and thy glory I'm going to take from you Shebna and I'm going to give to a righteous man called Eliakim, “And I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder.” Shoulder in the Old Testament denoted authority, legislative authority, civil authority. “And he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house. And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels, small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons,” or flasks, flasks, the vessels. “In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down.” In other words, what position Shebna that you thought was so secure it was like a nail in a hardwood. The Lord said he's going to remove it and he's going to cut it down and you are going to fall on your elevated lofty position. Now in our government today there is graft. There is theft. There is embezzlement. There is just downright thievery. Taxes are going up. Can you imagine the taxes that the American people pay? Can you imagine the misuse of public taxes? As you watch these documentaries on television concerning Medicare, Medicaid, food stamp program, the welfare program in general, … there's, there's a dozen different types. Doling out money ... and ... unjustly, even when the administrators of some of these departments in our government know that there's graft going on, they do absolutely nothing about it. They're crooked. They want to hold onto their positions. They want to use out or use up the allocated amount of government taxes to their department by the end of their fiscal year so that they can get another fast allocation for the next year. They're protecting their jobs. They're protecting their and … retirements and look at the corruption that is in Congress. Look at the corruption that's in some state governments. My friend, there's too many Shebna's in our government, I would say the government of practically every nation including our own. That's why we are paying so many taxes. We pay land taxes. We pay all types of taxes and penalties. We pay income taxes and unbiblical taxes. Do you know that sales tax is unbiblical? Real estate tax is unbiblical. Property biblically cannot be taxed. It was tax free and neither can the government take it away from you. If it's in your family and it's been paid for then that was yours. But the Shebna mentality, the crooked economics system that we are living under, the house of Rothschild, the Jewish banking houses of Europe historically came over here in the founding of our nation and started their central banks and that's why they hate ... Andrew Jackson to this day because he disannulled their, he would not allow their central bank to be set up in this country and they hate him to this day. What about the Jacob Schiff and the Kuhn Loeb and all the big banking houses that exist in New York that our government had to bail out a couple years ago? And they were crooked. Have those men gone to jail? Have the Shebnas of that whole ordeal, are they having to pay the price? But there is coming a time when the Lord Jesus Christ is going to come back to this earth and I've talked about this before. It's going to be a glorious time. Why? He's going to rectify all the wrongs in our economic system. The big fight in Congress is over the economic system and the economic crisis that we are in as a nation and the men that run for president and vice president. And, what is, what is their big campaign issue? Economics. What about the economy? What about the economy? What about the auto industry? What about this? The key of David, as we see in Isaiah chapter twenty two is concerning the righteous government. The key of David is the righteous government, the authority, the ability, knowledge, etc. that is allocated to someone to take care of the public funds and that which was in the treasury back in Judah of Isaiah's day and that which is in the treasury of our own country. And it's been misused and abused and but one day God is going to throw out all the Shebnas. We talked about the rod of iron. We talked about the sharp sickle and the wrath of God. And we talked about the sharp sword, and when Jesus Christ comes back he's going to throw the Shebnas out of office and put the righteous Eliakims, those that have been appointed by him to righteously and justly and fairly take care of the public treasury. Hallelujah, it will be a wonderful day. Now folks, every one of us, you may make five dollars an hour or you might make twenty five dollars an hour, you might make a hundred dollars an hour living in this country but everyone of us are economic slaves. We are slaves to the economic system and to the Shebnas that are in office. God help us and deliver us from the crooked Shebnas whether they be in the universities or in the churches or in the statehouses or in Washington. God deliver us from them. And even churches rob their people. They skin them alive, an offering for this and an offering for that and something else for this and that, and that and on and on. And there are so many bad things taking place in the area of economics. But the key of David, the righteous key of David and those appointed to that office, godly men are going to rule in the kingdom of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! We would love to send a free copy of our magazine to you if you would like to receive it. You may contact us by e-mail, by phone or by letter and we'll send you a free copy and on the back is the available books and material from this ministry. But I would also like to recommend a book that I have putting, that I put together entitled The Book of Revelation. It's a commentary on the book of Revelation from an Israelite and Historicist interpretation. And this is offer number 301 and we will send this to you for an offering of twelve dollars and that includes postage. So, going back to our subject, it would be impossible for me to name all the taxes that Americans pay. Sales tax, property tax, that's actually taxing the planet. You don't even have to have a shack on a piece of property but if you own it or are buying it you got to pay taxes on it or otherwise you lose it. That's ungodly. That is ungodly. It's unfair. Personal tax whatever you have in your house, property tax, inheritance tax, luxury tax, hotel tax, food tax, income tax over ten percent, building permits, road tax, license, inspection, doesn't matter what title they give to it, what name they give to it, it's still a tax. Now Shebna's attitude is what God hated and Shebna's deeds is what God hated. He was selfish. He was out for personal gain. He felt secure in his position and that could be applied to many men in public office today. They are secure. We can't touch them, even when a news media investigates some of these crooked politicians, they, they remain in office. What's the matter? Something is wrong. Our government is crooked. It's rotten to the core because the Shebnas protect one another. He thought highly of himself. He thought he deserved a monument to be remembered and he was probably most likely a foreigner or a heathenized Judean. Did Shebna implement usury in Judah? Now we know that the usury concept paying interest on money came out of Babylon and when the Jews came out of Babylon after the seventy year captivity was over, they brought that concept with them. And it came into Medo-Persia, into Greece, into Rome and we still have it today. And it came to us through Asia, through Europe and now it's in America. Usury is ungodly. It's in the book. Look it up. It's in the Bible. Shebna's humiliation, he's going to take him into captivity. His face is going to be covered with mourning. God's going to let him die in captivity. His glory is going to be turned to shame and he's going to lose his position or his job, but Eliakim, the godly element that God is training in the earth today for the manifestation of the sons of God to rule in the kingdom, they're called. They're preordained. They're clothed with trust and authority. They're strengthened. In other words they're trained and educated in economics of Scripture and they are committed. They're committed to their job to judge righteously, and to be a father in love and in care as a counselor and guide to the people. Now this is the key of the house of David that's going to be placed upon the shoulders of righteous administrators in the kingdom of God and the righteous administrators are going to be a hundred and forty four thousand spoken of in the book of Revelation. And the government is going to be so efficient. The government in the kingdom of Jesus Christ is going to be so fair and so efficient that it will only need a hundred and forty four thousand men to rule the whole kingdom world wide as opposed to the tens of thousands of lazy and nonproductive government employees that we have and that we're paying their salary everyday. So look forward to the greatest time in the history of mankind when Jesus Christ returns, sets up his kingdom, throws out the crooked Shebnas and he places his anointing of men, sons that are going to be manifested in the kingdom of Jesus Christ. These are going to be the Eliakims, the ones anointed for righteous judgment over the treasury of the house and the kingdom of the Lord. God bless you.

Part 60

The Consummation of God's Plan
TIH 537 Thank you once again for joining me here on Truth in History program. It's my pleasure and my privilege and opportunity to come to you and to bring to you and to share with you the words of God. Now the Bible that we have is the greatest gift that God has given to us outside of the person of Jesus Christ himself, and we thank God for the Scriptures and what the Scriptures, what the Bible has done for us in our life and in your life because by his Word God reveals himself to us. And it's not that we understand everything in the Bible. It's a learning process that is lifelong. We'll be learning hopefully to the very day that we breathe our last breath. But it's our search. It's our endeavor to delve into the depths of God's Word and to believe his Word and I realize that some of the things that I bring out is not the regular party line. I'll put it that way. It's not the standard interpretation of, especially prophecy because I differ a whole lot in history and in prophecy and if you differ in history concerning the covenants and the people and so forth then you will automatically differ somewhat in, in prophecy. But our purpose is to learn and to share the purpose and the plan of God and to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ because I hope that everything that I say, the focus is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the epitome of the revelation, manifestation of God in spirit and in flesh. We are in our Revelation series and I'd like to start with reading a verse of scripture in Revelation chapter eleven and verse fifteen. “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” You notice that the emphasis is, the emphasis is placed upon the concept of the kingdoms of this world on one side and the kingdoms of Christ, of our God, and of his Christ, of his Anointed on the other side and which one consumes which. Does the kingdoms of this world consume and destroy the kingdoms or the kingdom of God or does the kingdom of God destroy the kingdoms of this world. Now I'd like to share something with you in our program today. You notice it says the seventh angel. That's more or less the last Angel the consummation, the end, the message of the last Angel. In Revelation chapter ten and verse seven it says, “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel,” here we go the seventh angel again, “when he shall begin to sound the mystery of God should be finished as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.” You notice what the consummation of the mystery is the thing or things that the prophets of the Old Testament prophesied about. It's not something brand-new that was never spoken of before. It's actually the purpose of God as spoken by the Old Testament prophets is now coming to fulfillment to consummation. Now going back to our Scripture in verse fifteen of chapter eleven the kingdoms of this world are becoming the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ. I sat down the other day and I made a list of the different forms of government that I could think of. It's, I didn't do any extensive research in coming up with these and some of these forms of government overlap the other. But folks, this person that you are looking at here, I'm very much concerned about the direction of our country. Our country was established as a representative republican form of government. A representative republic is what I meant to say, a representative republic. And it is no longer that. We have become a socialist nation. We are well on our way to social, socialistic Marxism. We are well on our way to becoming a communist nation and a communist form of government and way of life that we condemned during the Cold War. Now we are becoming what we once hated. But it's creeping socialism. And I want to mention this based upon that verse, Revelation 11:15. What is government? Government is the exercise of authority over a state or an institution, a system, a political administration. And then I listed different forms of government. Communism is an economic system where the ownership of all property by the community as a whole and it means the production of products by collectivism. Sounds good but it doesn't work. Dictatorship, number two. Dictatorship is autocratic methods. It's a domineering government. It's imperative. It's unpredictable in its use of power. Three, mobocracy, just rule by the mob. Number four, democracy, government by the people. It's rulership by the rule, the majority rule, equality of rights, opportunity and treatment. And we keep saying, our politicians keep telling us that we are in a democracy. Demo means people, Ocracy means government. But I am afraid and you are aware of the fact and we are coming to the realization that we are no longer really a democratic republic. We are being ruled by outside forces. So we have a democracy, a representative democracy. Number six an oligarchy, that's government ruled by a few. As I've said these overlap. Number seven, a plutocracy, government by the wealthy or the very influential. We have come to that point in this country. Number eight, a republic. A republic is a state in which the supreme power rests in all the citizens entitled to vote or the electorate and is exercised by elected representatives who are responsible to the electorate. Well that's a Republic but what about all these special interests? What about the banking industry that controls us? We don't control the banking industry. They control us. What about the lobbyist for special interests? They control more of that politician more of my representative or senator than I do. I don't have a voice. They have the lobbyist. They have the money to go to Washington. Rent the finest hotels, eat it at the finest restaurants to pay the representative whether he be a Congressman or Senator, trips overseas, a Mediterranean cruise or a Caribbean cruise. Where am I? I'm left here out here on the plains of Oklahoma with no rights. Same with you because of the breakdown, the breakdown of our government by corrupt men. Then we have a monarchy ruled by one like a King or a Queen. And under monarchy we have an absolute monarchy, which is an unlimited monarchy. Then we have a constitutional monarchy which is limited by a constitution so that Monarch doesn't have total free reign to become a despot. Number ten a representative theocracy that's government by God through priests and prophets with divine authority. And then we have a pure theocracy which is government by Jesus Christ himself. So I read those to point out the fact that the kingdoms of this world, all these different forms of government someday are going to bow, in fact fall, in fact be crushed under the foot of Jesus Christ and his warring hosts. They're going to be crushed. Even the so-called form of government that we have in, in America in the US. It's crumbling. It's cracking. You can see it every day. It's going to fall. It's top-heavy. It's in debt. We are what twenty or twenty one trillion dollars in debt and it could be more and rising every second because we have not submitted to the rule of God. We have not submitted to God's Law Word that he established in the Old Testament. Now you notice in this Revelation scripture that it says in chapter ten that the mystery of God should be finished as was declared by the prophets in the Old Testament. And one our problems in this nation is that the preachers, the pulpits, the seminaries, the Bible colleges, the Bible college professors have thrown out the Law of God. They have thrown out the Law of God. So they say well the Old Testament is irrelevant. We don't need it anymore. We're just totally under grace. Well, we're saved by grace but we're governed by Law. I want to say that again. We are saved grace. Our sins are forgiven by sovereign grace but as a civil body politic we are governed by law and if you're not governed by the Law of God, you are governed by the law of men. And if God is not your King then your earthly king will be your God. So preachers, the church as a whole has failed to preach the Law of God and there's many laws. I, I can't go into all the laws today but the Law of God was given to Israel of which we are an Israel nation. That may surprise some of you but we are an Israel nation right along with many other nations, Great Britain, and Scandinavia and so forth but we have disobeyed to the extent that we are now under the judgment of the law that we have rejected. Read Deuteronomy 28, the law of cursing and the law of blessing, and that doesn't apply just strictly to our personal life but to our national life. It's a different subject, can't go into it right now. But in Revelation chapter nineteen we saw the great the, the description of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to this earth and crushing all evil and taking over the governments and the kingdoms that I just reviewed. In Revelation nineteen we saw that great coming, so we want to move on to Revelation nineteen and seventeen and following, you notice “And I saw an angel standing in the sun and he cried with a loud voice saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men free and bond, small and great.” Now the book of Revelation is written in symbols. Do you think that if we take this literally, now I'm going to be frank with you. I was raised and taught in a Bible college that said this is going to be a literal event and there's, there's preachers on the radio and television that are teaching that today. But Revelation is written in symbols. Now if we take this literally, do you think that God is going to call for a bunch of buzzards, a bunch of vultures, and say okay come down and I want you to start eating on people. Rich men, great industrialists, politicians, captains of the military, officers of the military, mighty men, even start eating on horses. That doesn't make any sense. Well, what does it mean? Vultures are people with brute nature, that have a brute nature, have an animalistic nature. It could be individuals. It could be groups of people. It could be people that are war-type groups of people whether it be a nation or an ethnic group. And what they're coming to do is to devour the product, to devour what these great men have built and why would God call a vulture, a, a natural bird to come eat on the flesh of a horse? It doesn't make any sense. A horse was a means of transportation. It was also a means of productivity so it represents industry. What is happening to our Western world industrial complex? It's breaking down because the heathen are raging and devouring that which the Western world industrial complex has built. You might say well I've never heard that before. Well, we can see it happening before our very eyes. The vultures, the vulture people, the beast like people, the fowls of the air like people has come and lodged in the branches of Western civilization and we're crumbling. You might say well preacher that's not, that's not very nice. But it's happening, it's happening. Why are we having to support, for example, to give foreign aid to dozens of countries and then they turn around and stab us in the back. These things are happening in our day and it's a gradual process. Now I was taught and you'll hear it on many other programs that the Battle of Armageddon is just going to poof, pop up. This is Armageddon. We are in the midst of a progressive Armageddon. We are in the midst of a, a crescendo that is yet to take place but we're building up to that because the vultures have come. The beasts have come. The fowls of the air have come and they're eating the, the wealth of mighty men, captains, rich, but it also affects the poor. See, it affects the common man. So that's, I believe that is a, a practical interpretation of these verses. And it says, “And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse and against his army.” Now most preachers preach that well someday in the future all these armies are going to come together and they're going to resist Christ. They're resisting Christ right now. They're resisting Christ. The whole social order in which we are involved in right down to political correctness and the philosophies that has produced political correctness, the teaching in our seminaries, the teachings in our universities, and the, for example, of Darwinism. It's a, it's a confront, it's a, it's an affront to the plan and the purpose and the record of God Almighty as Creator. So we are in an ongoing battle and struggle of these forces, physical, spiritual, psychological against the plan and the purpose of God himself. So we were actually in the process of the Armageddon. There's going to be a, a crescendo all right. There will be a consolation, that's for sure because we read in the book of II Thessalonians these words. And before we read that verse I would like to mention that we have this book, this commentary that we have written on the Book of Revelation from an Israelite, not a Jewish standpoint, but an Israelite and Historicist interpretation. And we have, I want to encourage you to order this book. And it is reasonably priced at $12.00. And folks, I wish we could afford to give them away but we just simply can't do that. And with the book, as you order this book, we will send you another little book entitled The Rich Man and Lazarus and I think you will find this little booklet very interesting. And we will send this to you along with the Revelation book plus we will also send you a map of the reformation of the House of Israel, not the Jews, but the reformation of the House of Israel in the West. And those of you who have not received our magazine we'll be more than happy to send you a copy of our magazine free of charge. So going back to our lesson concerning the coming of Christ and the overthrow of all these human governments. I'm not a politically correct preacher. I don't want to be. I don't endorse politicians. I don't endorse political parties. I don't endorse political issues because I want to have the mind of Christ. And this is God's outlook that the kingdoms of this world are becoming the kingdoms of our God and of his Christ because the kingdoms of this world are crumbling. II Thessalonians chapter one verse seven, “And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,” How's he coming? Not in rapture but “in flaming fire taking, taking vengeance on them that know not God and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Who, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power when he shall come to be glorified in his Saints and to be admired in all them that believe in that day.” He's coming with a twofold purpose. Not to catch somebody away and take him to another planet but he's coming to destroy the wicked, the Canaanites, and the Edomites that have wormed themselves in amongst us and perverted our culture and our religion. And then he's also coming to be manifested in his saints. Thank God. In other words, the manifestation of the sons of God is going to take place as Paul spoke of in Romans chapter eight. The manifestation of the sons of God will be part of the, the consummation of the plan of God when he destroys the wicked and comes and sits upon the throne of his Father David and that's the promise Gabriel gave to Mary. Jesus is going to sit upon David's throne. God bless you.

Part 61

The Consummation of God's Plan
TIH 538 May the Lord richly bless each one that have tuned into this program today and may you be edified. May your minds be stimulated. May your spirit reach out to God for greater understanding. And I just bless you today and I want to thank you for tuning in to this program and for your support and for everything that you have done to help us stay on the air and to meet our expenses. And we just want to thank you. That's, that's all there is to it. We just want to say, we want to thank God for you and also thank you because this is a labor of love and we want to be sincere and honest intellectually honest with ourselves, with you and with the Lord and with every penny that comes into this ministry because time is short. Material gain means absolutely nothing. Big houses, mansions, big headquarter buildings, Lear jets, vintage planes, motorcycles, limousines, that's nothing, means absolutely nothing. What we need as members of the body of Christ and as saints of the living God is to put the treasure of God's Word in our bosom. That's our treasure. That's our treasure. Jesus talked about it where thieves cannot break through and steal. Put the Word of God in our minds, in our soulish being, in our spirit, into our very bosom. That's one of our purposes. Hallelujah. Revelation chapter twenty nineteen and twenty. It's the consummation. The Lord Jesus is giving John the Revelator a birds-eye view so to speak of, of the consummation of, of evil and how evil is going to be overthrown. And it says that in Revelation chapter twenty, “And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold on the Dragon, that old serpent which is the devil and Satan and bound him a thousand years.” Of course there's a Satan. But Satan is the prince and the power of the air. Satan is also pictured in Scripture as being a succession of the Babylonian empires. Remember the book of Daniel. We have the, first the head, which was Babylon, the shoulders and the chest, Medo-Persia, the thighs which was Greece, the legs, the dual kingdom of Rome. That's a succession of Babylonian Empires. That's the Dragon. It was the Dragon that wanted to kill Christ, the Christ child, the man-child in Revelation twelve as soon as he was born. That was Rome. That was Herod. It's an earthly governmental system. Now I've said this before and I want to emphasize it one more time very briefly. Government, governments of men, human governments is the greatest, most likely substitute for the rule of God. And governments of men are always corrupt. Even our own government, it's corrupt. It's rotten to the core. And it's government that always persecutes the saints. Always. It could be other religious factors but it's always government that feels threatened by the Church of Jesus Christ so therefore it's government that suppresses the church. That's the Dragon. We have a Dragon that is about to suppress the Church of Jesus Christ in America. In fact it's already started, but this Angel laid hold on the Dragon, corrupt human governments and Satan. Satan means opposer, the devil, diabolos, and bound them a thousand years. They could no longer go out and deceive the nations. And then it says in verse four, “And I saw thrones and they sat upon them and judgment was given unto them. And I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus. These were the martyrs and for the Word of God which had not worshiped the beast neither his image, neither had he, they received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands and they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” You know, Jesus spoke to his disciples one day and he said in Matthew nineteen verses twenty seven and twenty eight, very interesting verse. “Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold we have forsaken all and followed thee. What shall we have therefore? And Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, that ye which have followed me in the regeneration when the Son of Man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, plural, twelve, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” More than one throne. There's the throne of the Lord Jesus. And then there's twelve what we might call secondary thrones and these apostles sitting on the thrones judging the whole house of Israel, not just the Jews. You know one of the greatest misconceptions if not the greatest misconception in the world today is concerning the identification of the Jewish people. Preachers have come up with the whole scheme of theology that the Jews represent all twelve tribes. It's impossible. It's illogical. If they're Jews, if they are real Jews, if they are real Judahites with biological ancestry going back to Judah, the fourth son of Jacob, and that's a big if. They'd only be one tribe. Well, what about the other eleven? The other eleven tribes. There's twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes. We must keep that in mind when we get to Revelation twenty one. So the nations are judged in Revelation chapter twenty, and apparently individuals are judged because John said he saw a great white throne and him that sat on it from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. Let's think about this. The earth and the heaven fled away from the face of him that sat on the throne. As I said before Revelation is written in symbols. A lot of it cannot logically be interpreted physically or literally. Otherwise you, you have a throne and Heaven itself, you mean the stars and the son, and the moon, the whole universe, the solar system just … flies away. And earth, you mean planet Earth just goes away. No. Heaven in this case, the heavens, represent governments. They melt before him. They melt before the Christ. Remember the verse in the Old Testament that the wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God. How you going to put a nation, whether it be Canada, the United States or Bolivia or Argentina or, or Australia in hell? It means to the grave, destruction, and it's the same meaning that's carried over here. They fled away. They crumble. They bow. What about Earth? Earth represents the masses of humanity. So we have governmental structure and we have a social order. We have a body politic combined, a governmental structure and a social order forming a body politic. Society at large, they are going to bow. This is going to be a biggie. When the Lord Jesus Christ comes this is going to be the greatest, most wonderful event this side of Calvary. Evil is about to meet its doom. Corruption, Hollywood, all the filth and the rubbish that's coming out of our entertainment industry is going to bow before the righteous throne of the Lord Jesus Christ. “I saw the dead, John said, small and great stand before God and the books were opened.” The books that record our lives, of both small people and great people. I'm in the small category. “The books were opened and we were judged out of the things which were written in the books according to our deeds.” God keeps a record. Many people are gone on. They're in the cemetery. God's record book is still accurate. He's going to judge them according to the deeds that they have done in their body. The sea is going to give up its dead and hell or the grave is going to give up its dead. Every man is judged according to his works. This is going to be the second death. My, my, my, are you ready? Am I ready for that Judgment Day. Before we proceed into chapter twenty one, I want to mention this offer. It's Offer No. 301 - The Book of Revelation. And I'd like to encourage everyone to make this small investment into your Bible understanding of $12.00 for this commentary The Book of Revelation written from an Israelite and an Historicist Interpretation. It has fold-out charts. I think it has 9 fold-out charts to help explain the text. Also we will send you along with that a little booklet entitled The Rich Man and Lazarus. You will I think be benefited by this because it gives some good understanding of interpretative aids in studying the Bible. Also a map entitled The Reformation of Israel; this is the true Israel, in the West. And this is a truth that has been neglected. And I know it's not popular and some day I want to give a program or a series of programs strictly on who is the true Israel of God. Who are the true Israel people? And I want to bring you a lot of facts. Also, those who have never received our magazine call us, write us, send us an email, we'll be glad to send you this magazine absolutely free of charge. The magazine is free and this offer for $12.00 we will send you the map, the Revelation book, and The Rich Man and Lazarus. It's for your edification. It's not for our enrichment because if you knew how much work goes into the production of this material and then what little, what little profit comes out of it, ever so small because we want to make our material available at a reasonable price because we're not trying to amass any wealth unto, unto ourselves. If we were we're in the wrong business. Revelation twenty one, we're getting into some very, very what I feel is very exciting material because there's a lot of detail here that is rich in meaning. Revelation twenty one verse one, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth.” Now going back to twenty verse eleven, the earth and the heaven fled away from the one who sat upon the throne who was Jesus Christ. Here he says, “I see a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away and there was no more sea.” Now how do we interpret that? It cannot be interpreted literally. The solar system is not going to just disappear. Heaven includes air. It includes the air next to the earth. We need that to breathe. It includes the atmosphere. It includes the stratosphere. It includes the clouds. It includes the planets, the solar system. Is all that just going to go away? It said the earth is going to be new. Does not mean that the Lord's going to take planet Earth, somehow just burn it up, throw it away, dissolve it and make a new earth? It's what I said concerning Revelation eleven or verse eleven in Revelation twenty, and that is this. A new governmental structure is coming to the planet and the earth a new social order is coming to the planet. What is this social order? What is this new government? It's the government of God. It's theocracy, pure theocracy, not representative theocracy. Representative theocracy would be like the days of Samuel the prophet, priest, who governed the people at from, or with authority from God. But here it's God himself. It's Jesus Christ himself. He's making a new governmental structure. We're not going to fly away to a planet somewhere way up in heaven and just give this planet to the devil. Oh no. The Lord is going to be glorified. He's going to be glorified in his saints in the earth. This is where we are going to rule and reign on the earth. If we all went to heaven who are you going to rule and reign? Who are you going to rule over and reign over up in heaven? Everybody is equal you know. Everybody is the same. They say it's just one big long church service. No, that's not heaven. Heaven's going to be right here on this earth. Don't be deceived by this rapture doctrine that abdicates the authority that God has invested in the body of Christ on this planet to rule and reign in righteousness like the twelve thrones that he spoke of in reference to the twelve apostles in Matthew 19:28. No, this is where the battle was lost. This is where the battle is going to be won. This is, planet is where paradise was lost and this on this planet is where paradise is going to be regained. Adam and Eve, Adam and Eve lived on the planet. Paradise in which they lived was on the planet. Well, why can't that paradise return to the planet? Why can't that paradise of God come back to the very place where it was lost? Now it says there's no more sea. I'm looking through my notes here for some remarks that I wrote down. … It says no more sea. Well, what does sea represent in the book of Revelation? The sea or the ocean or the waves of the sea, many waters represents people, restless people, restless nations, rest, restless groups, ethnic groups or racial groups or national groups. Revelation seventeen verse fifteen, “He said unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.” The sea, the ocean, the waters represent people. No more restless people. No more pagans or heathens that are raging. No more heathens that are raging like Revelation speaks about and Psalm chapter two speaks about. Why do the heathen rage? Why do the people imagine a vain thing? You see they're raging right now. Read your newspaper. Watch the six o'clock news. The nations are restless. Money systems are in great peril. Our economy right now, they're talking about increase of taxes for every American. They're speaking about hard times coming to this country. It's getting worse. People are restless. Governments are restless. Political parties are restless. But when Jesus Christ comes, suppresses evil and he destroys the evil ones, he's not only coming to destroy the devil. Let's be real. He's coming to destroy devilish people, those that obey not the gospel of Jesus Christ. II Thessalonians chapter one. Those he's coming in flaming fire to taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that actually means that rebel against the rule of God and Jesus even made a statement in one of his parables. He said bring those who will not have me to rule over them. Bring those who will not obey my Law, my Law structure. I will, have, they resist my authority. Bring them before my feet, and slay them. That's in the Bible. I didn't make that up. That's not from me. That's from the lips of the Lord Jesus. Those that would not have made to rule over them bring them before me, and slay them. It's going to be a most horrible, horrible time because the Bible tells us, the Lord is a consuming fire. Judgment is coming. It's coming individually and it's coming nationally. Our nation in our closing remarks on this program is a warning to all of us. Our nation is going to suffer the wrath of the Almighty. In fact it's already started. Storms on the East Coast, on the Southern Coast, fires on the West Coast, storms on the West Coast, tornadoes through the heart of the country. It's time that we wake up. And you might say well, how do we, how do we change? Well, there's a lot to change. But it's not going to come through a political party. That's out. Forget it. We don't endorse political candidates. They're not the answer. But going back to the Law structure of God for our nation. I'm not talking about the ordinances. I'm talking about the moral commandments, the statutes and the judgments because we are saved, my sins are forgiven by grace. You're forgiven by grace but we live by a law structure. Thou shalt and thou shalt not. And when Jesus Christ comes, he's going to execute this law structure again so that there will be a new governmental structure, a new heaven and a new social order, a new earth. No more restless masses. No more sea. I look forward to that day when Jesus Christ shall again set his foot on this planet and he reigns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Hallelujah. God bless you until next time.

The Consummation of God's Plan
TIH 539 May our Lord bless each one of you who have tuned in to this program today. And I, I bless you also and there are many who faithfully watch this program and who support this program and we greatly appreciate that also. But may you be enriched in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. The grace of God and the love of Christ and the communion of the Holy Ghost be with each one of you today. And if you have prayer requests, whatever that is, if you need a job, if you have an economic problem, a marital problem or a physical problem, whatever it may be, Jesus the Christ, the healer, our prophet, our priest, our King, our Passover, our first fruits, our unleavened bread, He's everything. He's our Pentecost. May he fulfill every need in Jesus Name that you may have. Be healed in the name of the Lord. Just be blessed in the name of the Lord. Our God is a good God. Hallelujah. We just want to brag on him today. We are continuing our lesson series in the book of Revelation. We are down to the last two chapters, Revelation twenty one. And it starts out in such a beautiful way in a general way but a beautiful way. John said, “I saw a new heaven and a new earth.” This is 21:1. “I saw a new heaven and a new earth. And the first heaven and the first earth were passed away and there was no more sea.” There are seven new things in the book of Revelation. A new name for overcomers. That's Revelation 2:17. A new name for Christ, a New Jerusalem, new songs, new heaven, new earth, and all things new. That's twenty one verse five. All things new. So we have a new name for overcomers. That's going to bring us, every overcomer into a different dimension, a new fellowship, a new relationship with our master with our Lord, a new name for Christ, New Jerusalem, new songs, new heaven, new earth, and all things new, that's mentioned in the book of Revelation. In this chapter twenty one we begin to see a consummation of something that we have always longed for, and that's the city of God. Remember in the book of Hebrews, and I, I want to turn there and, and read this wonderful verse of Scripture. In the book of Hebrews and chapter 11 talking about Abraham, it said “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance he obeyed and he went out not knowing whether he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise as in a strange country dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac, Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise for he looked for a city. Do you think that Abraham was actually literally looking for a city somewhere over there in the Fertile Crescent? The Fertile Crescent was bigger than just Palestine. Because the Fertile Crescent according to Doctor James Breasted began at the tip, the northern tip of the Persian Gulf and went up like a horseshoe and came back down through what we call Palestine. And Abraham wandered all through that country. Do you think he was looking for a literal city whose builder and maker was God? He knew better than that to look for a literal city over there because would man have built this city or would God? He looked for a city which had foundations whose builder and maker is God. The promise that was given to him was in the bosom of this man, Abraham. I think it's more than what we can perceive out of just reading the Scripture. It must come to us by divine revelation. He was looking for the government of God. He was looking for a structure of body politic that was righteous, holy, fair, just, clean, built upon the principles of righteousness. There was more in Abraham than what we give him credit for. He was looking for the same city we're looking for because in Hebrews eleven and verse thirteen it says concerning these great patriarchs they all died in faith not having received the promise. Well, they received the promise but they didn't receive the fulfillment of the promise, but having seen them afar off, far off in time. They saw them afar off in time. They were persuaded of them. They embraced them. They confessed them, that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. They did not fit in that old world social order. Well, Revelation twenty one the city is coming down. You notice in Revelation 21:2 John said this. “And I John saw the holy city,” and it was New Jerusalem, not old Jerusalem. Folks, let's get out of this mentality that many of our teachers have brought us into that old Jerusalem, that old city of Jerusalem that is now existing in the Zionist state of Israeli is the city which hath foundations whose builder and maker is God. That city was built by man. What about all the modern structures that have been added to the old city? Is that the government of God? A lot of that was built right out of the U.S. Treasury from foreign aid. What about the people that are living there, Jews, Arabs, Palestinians? Is that New Jerusalem? I don't think so. This city and I want to describe it later on whether in this program today or in a later one, I, I want to describe this city. But number one, it's a holy city. Well, it can't be holy unless the Holy One is there. When Jesus walked out of that temple, the temple of Solomon or Herod's Temple whatever you want to call it, in Matthew 24 when he walked out of that place, you see Jesus never functioned in his earthly ministry, Jesus never functioned in the Holy Place or in the Most Holy Place of Herod's temple. He had a right to. He was a Melchizedek priest and he was the son of David. He held those two offices King Priest. He was Melchizedek the epitome of priesthood a lot higher than Levitical priesthood but he never went in to the Holy Place or the Most Holy Place. As far as we know he just went on the porch and blessed and ministered to the people. When he walked out of that place in Matthew twenty four, He said this place is coming down. And he tells us in the book of Luke why it was coming down because they rejected him. They rejected Jesus and he said not one stone is going to be left upon another. Luke 19:44, “Because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation,” and that place was laid level by Titus the Roman general in A.D. 70 fulfilling the seventy weeks of Daniel, all seventy weeks. Now old Jerusalem is not qualified to be New Jerusalem. “And I John saw the holy city,” first of all it's holy. Number two it's new, New Jerusalem. Second thing, it doesn't go up so don't expect to be raptured and carried away to another planet somewhere. The city of God is coming down. The city of God is that heavenly city me, meaning it was designed by God. That's what makes it heavenly is because it has a heavenly design, a divine design, but it's coming down. The government of God, the structure of God is coming down. You see the Lord is not going to abandon this planet and turn it over to a bunch of devils and anti-Christs and all his gang and all the saints be up in heaven. No, the battle was lost here. The battle is going to be won here. The nations are going to bow before the Lord Jesus Christ and He's going to set up this structure. This is going to be His government, this city. And it says out of heaven, coming out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Well, this … when we get to this bride concept ... Who is the bride? … People say well the church is the bride. I don't think so. The Lord told his Israel people in Isaiah fifty four and verse five, “For the Maker is thine husband.” Thy Maker is thine husband. The Lord married Israel, a nation, all twelve tribes at Mount Sinai. Read it in Exodus nineteen through twenty four. The marriage vows are there. Moses was the administrator that administered this marriage between Yahweh God and his covenant people Israel. Israel is the bride of Christ not the body of Christ. You say, but I've heard all my life that you know that it's, the body is the bride. He's coming after the bride. Well, we are already part of him. We are this house that is fitly framed together. As saints of God we're already in His body. We're part of His body. So if we are the body, He's the head. The head is not detached from the body so that the body can walk down the aisle so to speak and marry the head. And Paul was talking one day, the apostle Paul, and he said I want you husbands to love your wife as Christ loved the church and people have taken that and said “Oh, okay the church is the wife.” No, all Paul was doing was using this analogy of husband and wife concerning two things, love and authority. Husbands, love your wife. Husbands, rule over your wife as Christ rules over the church. But the Lord tells us in Isaiah 54:5, “For thy Maker is thine husband.” Exodus nineteen through twenty four tells us that God married Israel that day. It was a marital contract. There's other places in Hosea chapter two. Well, let's, let's turn to Jeremiah in Jeremiah, chapter three if I can find this real quick, Jeremiah chapter three verse number fourteen, “Turn O backsliding children saith the Lord, for I am married unto you.” You see national Israel existed before the body of Christ came into being under New Covenant structure. And he said to Israel I am married to you. So we see this concept where New Jerusalem in Revelation twenty one, New Jerusalem is actually restored Israel, all twelve tribes, not just the Jews, not just the Jews. And I know I am swimming against the tide when I say this and I know that I'm going counter against a lot of teaching that is on radio, television, pulpits and Bible colleges because most of our preachers are sincere men. I'm not saying that they're not sincere or honest, but I'm saying they have been captivated. Their thinking has been swayed by the majority, public opinion, by politics, by newspapers, etc. and by the evolution of theology that have come out of certain books and Bible colleges and seminaries and everybody's on the bandwagon that the Jews comprise all twelve tribes of Israel. Nothing could be further from the truth. Nothing could be further from the truth. This here and I want to show you later on in this study in Revelation chapters twenty one and twenty two how this has to be restored regathered Israel of all twelve sons of Jacob prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. You see, the Bible tells us that the Lord divorced the northern kingdom of Israel for her idolatry, for her unfaithfulness, her unfaithfulness. Worshiping idols or other gods is adultery. It's spiritual adultery. Thou shalt not commit adultery. What do you think God meant? Just sexually? You think that was just a sexual connotation. To adulterate means to mix, unlawfully mix. Well, that could be religiously. It could be racially. It could be sexually, unlawful mixture. So Israel went into idolatry, whoredom, and it was considered adultery. And God divorced northern Israel but he said I'm going to remarry you. And he remarried northern Israel as a collective body and he paid the price for that remarriage by dying on the cross because you see he had to die. The husband had to die in order to qualify to remarry his wife. And second of all, the death of Jesus Christ not only was for atonement and for redemption of the House of Israel but it was the ratification of a New Covenant, the Christian covenant, and Jeremiah says in Jeremiah thirty one verse thirty one and following, “Behold, I will make a New Covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah.” He did not say with the church. No, He did not say I'm going to make a New Covenant with the church. That is replacement theology. I'm going to make a New Covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah. That means that when the writer of Hebrews picked up that thought he knew exactly what he was talking about in Hebrews chapter eight and verse eight for finding fault with them. He said, “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a New Covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah” and He's going to put the Law in their hearts, in our hearts. And how did He do it? Through the death, his own death on the cross He ratified a New Covenant. Matthew 26:26 and following, at the table the Last Supper and taking the cup, he took the cup with his disciples and said, “Drink this is my blood of the New Testament,” or the New Covenant, same word, New Testament, New Covenant, same meaning. “This is my blood of the New Covenant.” So in other words, the New Covenant has already been made with the House of Israel and the House of Judah. In contrast to the teaching that I hear so often “Oh the, the Lord's going to make this New Covenant with the Jews after the rapture.” It's not in the book. That's not in the book. He's not going to make a, a covenant, a New Covenant with the Jews after the rapture after the church is gone. That's Darbyism. It's Larkinism. That came out of the old teaching of the Plymouths, Plymouth Brethren and that era of time and Gabelein and other men like that who are all passed on, all, they're, they're in their graves but they've left that legacy of falsehood that caught on like a, like a Kansas prairie fire in a high wind and it's everywhere. But the Lord said He's going to make a New Covenant and he made that New Covenant and He ratified it with his blood. Hallelujah. Thank God. I want to mention our offer that I'd like to encourage each one to order this book for an offering of twelve dollars. It's a commentary on the book of Revelation. There's things in here that I'm not saying on the program and naturally there's things I'm saying on the program that didn't make it in the book. But it's, it would be a good investment of twelve dollars investment. And with the book I'll also send you a map entitled The Reformation of Israel in the West and also a booklet entitled The Rich Man and Lazarus, the Rich Man and Lazarus. And I think you will be benefited by this, this booklet, in fact all three pieces of material. And those of you who have not received our magazine, I want to encourage you to write to us, e-mail, snail mail, telephone call and order this magazine. We'll send it to you absolutely free of charge, Truth in History magazine. And on the back there's a list of booklets that we have available. But as we continue in our study, new heaven, new earth, God's building a, a structure in his people. You see the Lord's building is people, his temple, is his people. In verse three of chapter twenty one, “And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying, behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them and they shall be his people and God himself shall be with them and be their God.” The concept here is that this New Jerusalem, this new governmental structure, this new social order, this new city, this holy city, this new city is actually people. You talking about reigning, ruling and reigning with Christ. We're going to be the ones, His body is going to be the one that is the Temple because Paul said already Paul said in, in his Corinthian letters “Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost.” We are His temple. In John chapter fifteen he said “I will abide in you and you will abide in me.” In other words, you tabernacle in me and I'll tabernacle in you. You see we are the temple of God and in this verse “Behold the tabernacle of God is with men.” He doesn't need a brick and mortar structure rebuilt over in Palestine in order to dwell in. God's dwelling in His people and He's coming to reign and sit upon the throne of His Father David and we will be there. God bless you.

Part 63

The Consummation of God's Plan
TIH 540 Bless the Lord O my Soul and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Thank you once again for joining me here on Truth in History program. And it's my delight and my pleasure to come into your home or office or place of business and share the word of God with you. And as I've said many times before, those of you who have listened to this program for some time know that we are quite different in our interpretation of a lot of Scriptures especially concerning prophecy. And in our present study of Revelation twenty one and twenty two this is where it will show up the most. Where we differ, because … I've tried to make myself clear on many issues, where you understand where I'm coming from and the main points in which we differ are basically history and prophecy. And in these two chapters we're going to see where all twelve tribes of Israel are re-gathered and they're regathered in the West. The Christian nations, Great Britain of Western Europe, British Isles, North America, we are the people of the twelve tribes of Israel, literally, physically. We're the Israelites. Some of the Jews could possibly be of Judah or some other tribe. But I must be honest with you. I want you to think hard. Consider things that you hear from me and from other ministries especially concerning the idea that all the Jews are going back to Israeli and they're told, they're the totality of Israel. Well, Palestine isn't much bigger in square miles than the state of New Jersey and that's the best God can do in re-gathering all of the twelve tribes of Israel? Is that the best God can come up with? What about this wonderful land of ours, North America? What about Christendom? Where did the Bible come out of? The English speaking people. Who has published the Bible and spread it around the world? Who has blessed other nations and other races of people, spiritually and taught them the basics of existence which is government and science, agriculture and religion? Consider those four things, four general things: government, science, agriculture and religion. We have transported and transmitted these four things to the rest of the world, those that would receive it. So who is Israel because the Lord told Abraham in thee and in thy seed shall all the nations be blessed. Who's blessing the nations? So when we come to this chapter of the city of God being rebuilt we have to rethink this thing. And now is this a literal city? What is a city? A city is a community of citizens, originally those holding citizenship possess. Let me read that again. A city is a community of citizens, originally those holding citizenship possesses, number one a boundary. There's a boundary to a city, city limits. Number two, powers of self-government, and it's governed by a charter. Every city is governed by a charter. Every, every city that you pass through if it's incorporated with the state like the state of Oklahoma or the state of Montana there's a charter. It has to obey that charter. And then it has a social, religious, and a commercial life. People making a living and working in and then going to church on Saturday and Sunday or whatever your preference is, on Wednesday and there's a social order. There's young people getting married. There's people dying. There's hospitals. There's clinics. There's all types of … clubs and athletics going on in school. That's the social life. That's in a city because of people. There's no people in that landmass. Then that's not a city. It might've been a city at one time, you know like these ghost towns out West. That's no longer a town. That's, that's just the remains of the physical part of that town. Well, my point is that in this holy city, the New Jerusalem established right here on this earth, it's going to have a boundary. It's going to have a boundary. It's not going to be worldwide, the city of God, the kingdom of God, the headquarters is not going to be worldwide. And I'll go into that later on. And it's going to have powers of self-government because who's on the throne? Jesus Christ. It's a pure theocracy. Number three. It has a social, religious and commercial life because there's people. Now, we go into something here and I, I, I realize that I'm moving kind of slow in this chapter. I realize that. Because these two chapters are chapters that have been skipped over in the church world. I don't mean to be critical or mean-spirited in any way but people have told me and I can vouch for it myself and so can you. If you've been to church any length of time at all that you can attend some churches and not learn one thing in twenty years. And when, excuse me, when they come to these chapters of Revelation, twenty one and twenty two, their whole deal is wrapped up in one sentence. Fly away to heaven. Walk on streets of gold. Put our feet in the water, the river, the water of life and eat fruit off of trees. It doesn't even make sense. There's a meaning, a deep meaning to these things and that's why I'm going detailed and it's going to take several more programs to, to explain these details. I could jump over a lot of material and just, you wouldn't, you wouldn't catch the full impact of the revelation that Jesus gave to John on the isle of Patmos. So we, we see what a, we find out what a city is. Now it says, it uses this phrase in verse three, “Behold the tabernacle of God is with men and he will dwell with them and they shall be his people and God himself shall be with them and be their God.” This same concept we get out of, we or we find in II Samuel chapter seven, II Samuel 7:14, I'm looking for that. In II Samuel 7:14 we have this same concept. I will be his father David's son, the son of David, it's talking about Solomon. I will be his father and he shall be my son and we, we find this same concept in several places in Scripture. In other words, I'm setting up a relationship of father and son. It's an intimate relationship with me. That's where God really dwells. Now it says the tabernacle of God is with men. In John fifteen, Jesus said, abide in me, tabernacle in me, live in me. In I Corinthians chapter six verses nineteen and twenty, chapter three verses sixteen and seventeen, II Corinthians 6:17. The apostle Paul is saying your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Your body is the temple. Now in the Old Testament in Isaiah chapter sixty six we see another concept. In verse number one, Isaiah 66:1, “Thus saith the Lord, the heaven is my home and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house that ye build unto me and where is the place of my rest?” Stephen, the first martyr of the early church, when he was giving his testimony in Acts chapter seven and verse forty eight he made this statement, “Howbeit the Most High dwelleth not in Temples made with hands as saith the prophet,” and we just read the prophet. “Heaven is my throne. Earth is my footstool. What house will you build me saith the Lord or what is the place of my rest? Hath not my hands made all these things? Howbeit the Most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands.” Even in the Old Testament when God established that tabernacle in the wilderness under the administration of Moses, the Most Holy Place was his representative location on earth of his presence. But David came along, King David, and said “Where can I hide from your presence? If I take the wings of the morning or make my bed in hell thou art there.” God is everywhere. You're not going to confine the Lord to a building of brick and mortar. The tabernacle of God is with men. We are his tabernacle and we are going to be His tabernacle in His earthly kingdom. He's going to dwell with us and we're going to dwell in him. The concept of the Jews wanting to build a tabernacle I read an article not too long ago where even some of the other nations other than the government of Israeli of the Zionist state. One rabbi said well they have expressed an interest where we're going to build a house of ... of religion ... a corporate religion, a mutual religion, mutual religions, plural. Do you think the Lord is going to dwell in that house? No. Do you think He's going to dwell in there with Judaism, Islam, and some other religion and a little Christianity or whatever? No, the Lord's not interested in building a brick-and-mortar edifice in the old city of Jerusalem. He's building his temple in you and me. He's training me. He's training you to be an administrator in the kingdom of God to administer justice and righteousness. You might say preacher what, why do you dwell on that so much? Look around and see the turmoil in this earth. There's people starving to death right now in third world countries. There's children that are naked. There's children that haven't had a decent meal possibly in days. There's Christians that have given their life for Jesus Christ in some of these Third World countries, being martyred. Look at the injustice. Look at the disparity within this earth, multi-millionaires, look at the Rothchilds and the Kuhn, and the Loeb's families and the, and the Jacob Schiff families, and the world bankers, absolutely wallowing in wealth while you've got some man that's beating his brains out, so to speak, six days a week to feed his family and to pay his bills. Look at the injustice in the American courts. Look at the unrighteousness, the moral corruption that's in our government, the bribery and the graft and the moral corruption. When the president, the vice president comes out in favor of same-sex marriage endorsing homosexuality and when our Supreme Court passes Roe versus Wade legalizing the worship of Moloch, abortion, aborticide. How in the world can this continue when the cup of iniquity is filling up? God's going to overthrow the heavens, the old governmental structures, and the earth, the old social order and He's going to come and establish a new order. Government by God, righteousness, peace, equity, fairness. Hallelujah. That day is coming to this Earth. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, verse four. There shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away.” Hallelujah. Praise God. Praise the Lord. When Jesus comes and sets his foot on this planet once again and rules the nations with a rod of iron and a crown is placed upon His head, a victor's crown, Hallelujah, and He's coronated King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Will you be there? Hallelujah. “And he that sat upon the throne said, behold, I make all things new.” That's wonderful. “Behold, I make all things new and He said unto me write for these words are true and faithful.” Now I'd like to comment at this point on a verse of Scripture that has been used hundreds, maybe thousands of times at funerals but it's not a funeral verse. In John fourteen verse one. “Let not your heart be troubled. Ye believe in God, believe also in me.” And then it says, “For in my father's house are many mansions and if it were not so I would have told you and I go to prepare a place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am there you may be also.” And that verse has been perverted to mean that Jesus Christ went away and he's up there somewhere, hammer and nail building me a mansion and building John Doe a mansion and building Mary Smith a mansion and building you. That's not what that means. I grieve every time I hear that Scripture, that beautiful Scripture so diminished in its meaning. He is prepared, he's not up there building me a mansion. I don't want a mansion. And you a mansion. No, what that means is that he is building a place of preparation, a kingdom where you and I will dwell in. He's preparing that and He's preparing it not up there somewhere in heaven on another planet but He's preparing it in us because can't you see that Paul talked about the manifestation of the Sons of God. The manifestation of the Sons of God is a, is a beautiful truth that has just been totally ignored in theology and in the church. And pastors and evangelists hype people up. You're going to fly away somewhere. God is building these mansions or these dimensions, these dwelling places for us to dwell in. He says I make all things new. The former things are passed away which is sorrow and tears and death. There won't be any of that in the New Jerusalem. “And he said unto me, it is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.” That can't be literally. Here's a cup of water because Jesus told the woman at the well the water that you get out of this well, you drink it you will thirst again but the water that I give you, you shall never thirst. This is heavenly water. This is spiritual water. This is eternal life. It's symbolic language expressing life giving substance which is actually himself. “He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be my son.” The same concept that we find in verse three and the same concept that we find concerning the words about Solomon. I will be his God, he will be my Son. You see God's building a city out of people. He's training you and me to rule in his kingdom here on this earth in our glorified bodies. Hallelujah. It's going to be a glorious, glorious time. I would like to encourage each one to make this investment not in this ministry but in your own edification of the Word of God and for twelve dollars offer number 301 The Book of Revelation From an Israelite and Historicist Interpretation and it will help you understand the book as you have never read or understood it before. And there's a booklet list on the back, books and booklets that you may order from this ministry and we'll If you want your name taken off at any time you just write to us. We do not send out solicitation letters. We're not going to start sending out solicitation letters. The Holy Spirit touches your heart. The Holy Spirit touches your mind, your spirit to sponsor this program as we sow into your life you sow into our life. And that's the way we believe, and that's the way that I'm comfortable with because I'm not out to fleece anybody and we're not out to build great buildings or make big investments in, in the stock market or big buildings or, or colonial homes or anything of that nature. That's, all that is just vanity. Solomon found that out. It's all vanity. But we want to invest in you the Word of God. Plant in you these wonderful words and these wonderful meanings of these, these rich rich truths of God's Word of his kingdom coming to this Earth and Jesus Christ sitting upon the throne of his father David. And we've talked about that in the past. What is a throne? It's not just a big chair. It's, it's the seat of authority. A throne is a seat of authority. Queen Elizabeth could be sitting on a chair. She's on the throne but she could be in Canada. She could be in South Africa, Australia but she as the monarch, she is still on the throne. It's the seat of authority. So the Lord Jesus is coming. He's building his temple in you and me and someday this earth is going to be changed. Evil will be gone. Jesus on the throne and we will reign and rule with Him a thousand years or more. God bless you until next time.
