Ordinarily the concepts that are taught concerning the Books of Daniel and Revelation are all bad, negative, tribulation, hardship, persecution, murder, martyrdom, the antichrist, the false prophet, the beast, everything that would be frightening to an individual. This is generally the way the Book of Revelation is presented. It's ordinarily taught that from chapter four and verse one on is all crammed into a short period of seven years called the Tribulation. This has become ingrained in the minds of so many Christian people and there are programs, seminars, videos, audiotapes, and workbooks that just go on and on concerning this concept. Men have been made millionaires by selling books with fictitious accounts of the Book of Revelation. But I want to be honest with you, that as we approach this book there have been some great minds that have gone on before us to help us understand this book. Currently there are three popular viewpoints, the preterist view, the historicist view, the futurist view. Follow us through this often misunderstood area of Bible prophecy.

What is Your Relationship to Babylon?
TIH 526

In our recording today of the program I want to start in the book of Revelation chapter nineteen. We have been in the book of Revelations studying the book and trying to cover a lot of details not every detail because it would be quite extensive but in chapter nineteen we see a somewhat of a, a turn of turning the corner so to speak and we begin to see the glory of the Christ come forth in this book. Throughout the book we have seen glimpses of the majesty of God, the sovereignty of God, divine providence taking place in the affairs of man but in chapter nineteen we see somewhat of a, a culmination or … bringing to a fruition of the program and the purpose of God among men in the earth and many of you who have been watching this program already know the approach that I take on many issues and on many doctrines of scripture and what I have entitled this program is something that I hope challenges you and me both because I was challenged with this thought thirty years ago. And I have entitled this program this challenge. What is your relationship to Babylon? Now we have asked many times, the Holy Spirit has asked many times in many church services what is your relationship to Christ? And that's a valid question to bring men and women to the Savior but I'm asking you today what is your relationship to Babylon? Now what do I mean by that? I mean this. There are thousands of Christians that are watching this program today and they watch various other religious programs day in and day out, week after week, month after month but yet their minds are also plugged in to this worldly system. That's Babylon. The word Babylon means confusion and there are so many voices in the world today. The voice of entertainment or voices, plural, of entertainment, sports. So many Christian men are hooked on watching sports continually. It's a distraction and you may ask what's wrong with playing … sports or, or, or baseball or football? There's nothing wrong with it. But we know, you know and I know that professional sports the bottom line is money. It's gain. It's greed. It's riches, the desire to be rich and famous and many of the players, look at the reputations that they have. It matches those of the Hollywood set and I personally don't think that a Christian should be preoccupied with entertainment in this world. Some people may watch the Super Bowl or the World Series but I have been to people's homes where you could not even visit with them because they were occupied, their mind was occupied not with the things of God but with watching a ballgame. There have been churches that have canceled their services in order to play on the big, big-screen TV a ballgame. … There was one church even had a split over the Super Bowl. That's just one example but it's, it's a matter of the mind. We serve God with our minds and when our minds have taken on the mentality of the world instead of the mind of Christ, the mentality of the Christ, then we're out of the will of God. That's just one example.

But Revelation nineteen, this is God's attitude towards Babylon. Nineteen one, “And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven saying Alleluia, salvation and glory and honor and power unto the Lord our God.” Now it says in this verse that John was recording this and he said that he had heard a great voice of much people in heaven. Now personally folks, I do not believe that this is referring to that location in the sky that is ordinarily referred to as heaven where people fly away to and they are crying unto the Lord salvation, glory, Hallelujah, honor and power. These are people that are on the earth in heavenly places, people that have a heavenly mentality. People that are in tune with the plan and the purpose of God right here on this earth because where is the struggle taking place? It's not in heaven. It's on the earth. Where is the greatest, where are the greatest battles ever fought, militarily and also mentally? Right here on this earth. So it's a company of saints that are, that have embraced, they have become one with the Christ. It's like the hundred and forty four thousand in Revelation fourteen that follow the Lamb whithersoever he goes and they have not been defiled with women which denotes false religion or perverted religion and these follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth and being redeemed from the earth as firstfruits unto God. Now I want to make it clear that there is a delusion in this earth, in the churches, Christian churches, Protestant churches, Evangelical churches, Pentecostal churches, non-Pentecostal churches that we're just going to abandon this earth and fly away to some other place. No, the battle is here. This is where Adam was created right here on this earth. This is where sin entered into the minds and hearts of the bodies and the lives of mankind. This is where the battle was lost. This is where the battle is going to be won, right here on this earth so we may as well just forget about this … abdication of our authority as believers on the earth and get in tune with God. Get in tune with the Word of God. Get in tune with the Holy Spirit so that we can be part of this company in heavenly places with a heavenly mentality and that's where we can truly say Hallelujah, salvation, glory, honor and power unto the Lord our God.

Now in this passage of scripture in Revelation nineteen we see the Lord portrayed as Yahweh Sabaoth. That means the Lord of Host. It means in plain language the Lord of Many Armies because God is a God of war. And turning to Exodus chapter fifteen if you have your Bibles I'd like for you to turn there and we are going to, we get a picture of the Lord in his wrath. Now Revelation nineteen as we see later on in this chapter is where the Lord Jesus comes as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He's not coming as a little baby in the manger. Jesus Christ is not coming again as a little baby, helpless little baby in a manger. He's not coming as one who's going to die on the cross. He's coming as the God of War. He's coming as the God of Many Battles and he's going to take care of this Babylonian system. He's going to destroy it. So we get a picture of this in Exodus chapter fifteen. Remember when the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, they were saved by the angel of his presence when the fire, the fiery pillar, and the cloud, the pillar of cloud separated the Israelites from the Egyptians. The Israelites were saved; the Egyptians were destroyed. Now that's a picture of the future coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Some are going to be saved. Others are going to be destroyed. In modern Christianity today I have to take issue with some of the preaching that we hear that is so popular today. It's, it's just self-image, improve your self image. Jesus will help you. Jesus wants to pat you on the head, give you a sweet piece of candy and you'll be all right. The Lord wants to make you rich. Send in your money to me and they say the Lord will multiply it. No, I don't go along with that concept. Jesus Christ is coming again. I believe that. Not to zap us away to another planet but to take over this planet. This is where Babylon has perverted mankind and brought confusion and heartache and headaches for hundreds of years and this is where Babylon is going to be destroyed. And we see this picture in Exodus fifteen, “Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord and spake saying I will sing unto the Lord for he hath triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.” Moses was rejoicing over the overthrow of the Egyptian army. Why didn't Moses have compassion on them? Why didn't he go to the descendants of the families of the soldiers that were killed and offer them reparation payments or offer them sympathy? He did not do that. We must have a proper attitude towards the Lord and we must have a proper attitude towards Babylon. We must have God's attitude towards Babylon. Do you love it? Do you love the confusion that we are in in this world? Do you relish your life in this turmoil of confusion and sin and corruption and perversion? We should hate Babylon. Oh you say well a preacher shouldn't use the word hate. God hates some things. Why can't his saints hate some things and why can't we rejoice over the destruction of Babylon, this Babylonian system? Exodus fifteen verse two, “The Lord is my strength and song and he is become my salvation. He is my God and I will prepare him an habitation, my father's God and I will exalt him.” And then verse number three says, “The Lord is a man of war. The Lord is his name.” Now in the King James version L-o-r-d is all caps, all capital letters which denotes the tetragrammaton or his sacred name of Yahweh and is often spelled YHVH. And other people may have a different pronunciation. Please forgive me if you think I'm wrong.

Some people call up and they reprimand me because I don't say his sacred name the way they think that it should be spoken but I'm using the pronunciation that I know of and that's Yahweh. So it's Yahweh is a man of war. Yahweh is his name. He is pictured here as Yahweh Sabaoth, the Lord of host. And this host of people are his soldiers, in other words the Lord of Many Armies. So we begin to get a picture. We begin to get a picture of the attitude of the Lord and the attitude of God, God's saints, the attitude of the Lord and the attitude of his saints towards the enemies of Christ and the enemies of Christianity. Now I realize that in the day in which we live there's a lot of effort in soul winning and that's good. That's, that's good. Everyone needs to be saved regardless of their, their race or their nationality. They need Jesus Christ as their Savior but friends let me say this. Everybody doesn't love the Lord Jesus and everybody will not eventually be saved and there are certain people on this earth that hate Jesus Christ and they hate Christianity and they hate you if you're a believer and a follower of the Lord Jesus. You may not realize that but there are people that hate America that are living in America and there are people that are posing as God's chosen people, yes, they're posing as God's chosen people and many preachers are proclaiming them as God's chosen people but yet they operate organizations that are anti-Christian such as the ADL and the ACLU and other organizations. The American Civil Liberties Union and the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith, they hate Christianity. They, they contest every Christian symbol … they're trying, that's like a manger scene or cross on any public property. Why? Because they hate what it stands for so we may as well admit that God has enemies just like Israel had enemies in the Old Testament. This is what Moses went on to say. Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea. His chosen captains also are drowned in the sea. Moses didn't cry. He rejoiced. Mariam got a tambourine and the women danced before the Lord in rejoicing at the downfall of the Egyptian army. Well we see here in the book of Revelation in chapter eighteen when Babylon is destroyed and I'm going to talk about this in some following programs also more in-depth but when Babylon is destroyed this is the admonition to every true saint of God. It's not crying. It's not weeping. It's not bemoaning the fact that Babylon is falling. In Revelation 18:20 it says, “Rejoice over her thou heaven, people in heavenly places, and ye holy apostles and prophets for God hath avenged you on her.”

I would like to encourage everyone to order my book entitled “The Book of Revelation From an Israelite and Historicist Interpretation.” And this book does not cover everything. It does not cover every detail in the book of Revelation but there are so many things in this book that you will find helpful in understanding the Revelation letter and it's a book of three hundred and, or excuse me, two hundred and twenty three pages of material outlining the book of Revelation plus there are several charts that helps to explain the different interpretations of Revelation. Here's a chart here entitled “The Relationship Between the Church and the Kingdom, the Biblical View.” So there are several charts in here and we ask you, we ask you to remember us in when you order your Christian material not for our profit, we don't make profit off of this material, off of these books. We offer them at the lowest possible price and this one being a donation of twelve dollars and that includes the postage. And with your order we will send you a map. And this map is eleven by seventeen. It's entitled “The Reformation of Israel in the West.” We will put this in, this map in free of charge with your order of “The Book of Revelation From an Israelite and Historicist Interpretation.” Now there's no other book, this is not a brag, but there is no other book that addresses the book of Revelation from a Historicist interpretation and an Israelite interpretation in modern print today that I know of. There are some others but we feel that this book would be a real asset to your understanding of the Word of God and those of you who have not received our magazine we will send you this magazine absolutely free of charge entitled Truth in History. You just contact us at the information that is on the screen. You may write to us. You may call us and we will be glad to send this material to you.

So we're back in Revelation chapter nineteen and in this chapter the beginning of this chapter in verses one through twenty one, that is the whole chapter, we see the manifestation of God in his characteristic and in his attributes as Yahweh Sabaoth, the God of War. Now many preachers say that there's going to be a war in the future. There will be, there will be a great slaughter and I think the Lord Jesus Christ himself is the one that's going to be swinging the sickle because that cup of iniquity in our nation and around the world surely is getting to the top. The cup of iniquity is almost full. Now this is a covenant nation. Let me explain this. We're a covenant people. We came from western Europe and established this great nation but there's a difference between the nation and the government. The nation, the country is involved, involves the people, the culture, the religion that was the original in the establishment of this great nation. But the government that we have is absolutely antichrist. It's ungodly. In fact, it's not controlled by the people whom we elect to control our government. Everyone knows that this government of ours is controlled by the political industrial complex and the economic banking houses of the world. It’s controlled by sinister forces behind the scene. Call it what you may … the Illuminati, the CFR, the Trilateral Commission, whatever you might want to name it, they're sinister forces that control this nation and we are under the thumb of this Babylonian system but yet there are many godly people in this country, men and women that love the Lord, that live godly lives and that's what makes the difference between the nation and the government because it's the government that has given license and sanctioned abortion and homosexuality and same-sex marriage. It's not the people. It's the wicked vile ungodly Babylonian system that we call the United States government in its three branches that control us. But until then, until next time I want to encourage each one of you to be encouraged in the Lord because Jesus Christ is coming back and He's going to be manifested as Prophet, Priest and King and He's going to take charge of this kingdom of His. God bless you.
