Judgment Against Sinful Babylon |
|
Sinful Babylon In the book of Daniel is a dream that Nebuchadnezzar had. And this dream that he had is so significant because it actually outlines human history. The Bible tells us that this man had a dream. Daniel interpreted that dream, and it was the dream of the image, and this image had a head of gold, it had shoulders, breasts of silver, it had a belly and thigh of brass, then it had legs of iron and feet of iron and clay, and that represented the four earthly kingdoms of Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. But Daniel goes on to say that there was a stone that was cut out of the mountain, not made with hands. This is the kingdom of God and the kingdom of God, my friend, is not just something ethereal, way out in heaven somewhere. The kingdom of God is more than that. In Daniel Chapter 2 and verse 44. And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass and the dream is certain and the interpretation thereof is sure. God has a kingdom. Click the white arrow to to play the video.
