Jesus’ Galilean Appearance |

![]() Jesus’ Galilean Appearance One of the greatest events ever recorded in the Bible is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In fact the crucifixion, the resurrection and the glorification of His ascension back into heaven is actually the pivotal point of all human history. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead validated the effectiveness of His sacrifice on Calvary. I'd like to talk about Jesus' three post resurrection appearances to His disciples. These three appearances took place in Galilee. The angel told the three women who came to the tomb, “But go your way. Tell his disciples and Peter that He goeth before them into Galilee.” You picture yourself as sitting in that room behind closed doors in Galilee almost 2000 years ago and bound up with fear, apprehension of the unknown and of the future. Then all of a sudden the Savior appears and His first words are Peace be unto you. This is Yahweh. He condescended and took on flesh and He came in His father's name; Yahshua. Yah and shua, Yah is salvation. Jesus said unto him Thomas, Believe me, just simply believe me. “And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” Jesus said; “because I live you shall live also.” This is the blessed hope of the believer. It's the resurrection from the dead, not the rapture but the resurrection from the dead. That's the blessed hope. The trumpet shall sound and wake up the dead. Hallelujah. He said the hour is come when those who are in the graves shall hear my voice and live. Hallelujah. This is the message that Peter preached on the day of Pentecost! |
